Um to much info dude:D
LMAO!
Sorry...
Its the only time I see myself tho, and now Im actually feelin good about it

It comes back fast but I here you on the first 2-3 weeks. I hurt so bad from head to toe... The guy I was training with reminded me of the Sensei from the Karate Kid "Mercy is for the weak". I think he liked to work out with guys and run them off after a few days... What he didn't understand with me is, I'm dumb and stubborn...

Yeah, my trainer says "gotta embrace the pain, to enjoy the gain"
He has run a few clients off with the structure of his workouts, whenever I start to complain about how weak I am or if I get disappointed with my performance in a set, he says "but, you show up and you're still here"

Hes big on forced reps (where the spotter lifts when you fatigue), and negative reps on the bench (when you have 120% of your max and hold it back from dropping for 10sec) and likes working with determined people...I enjoy the challenge and Im enjoying the benefits even more...its worth every penny to have a good trainer!

Climbers chalk and lifting chalk is the same stuff and works like magic... But some of us are more stubborn on here & like to draw pretty pictures all over gym;)

Good for you on getting back in the gym Jason. It will truly change your life.

Lets not even get into poor decisions made when younger or even now for that matter:D

Guilty. I also count reps/rounds with tally marks on the floor. :D

Last week it was programmed to train two weaknesses. Pick the movement and perform a couple reps a minute for twenty minutes. I picked heavy squats and heavy snatches. :D

That's better...

Here's one for you to try out, 2x20 at 60% of your 1 rep max on squats. Once you can complete the 2x20 bump it 10 pounds and stay there until you hit 2x20 etc etc, enjoy...

I hate dropping weight but sometimes u have to. I might have to go to that power lifting meat. Squat would kill me though. Wasn't as sore as I thought I would be after I killed em the other day

Making my newb gains is kinda fun... Started at 95lbs and on Saturday I got to 215 3x5. Deads are going higher too 252.5lbs 1x5. Upper body has always been roughed for me to gain. I have added 65lbs to my 3x5 for bench in 9 weeks or so. I have the sudden urge to run/sprint as I am built for running :D

Don't feel bad...I squat and dead only about 140 and have to wear a belt...just one at the gym. My back is not a huge fan of weight anymore so I just go easy and make sure my form is spot on. Not gonna lie though I do get jelly reading some posts of you guys hitting upper 400's on stuff

So it hit low 90s yesterday and I was pretty spent, came home to a very hot house.

But, got to the gym and proceeded to sweat out more.

Squats
5x225
5x265
5x315
3x365
5x415
3x365

Rows
Worked to a 5x225

Called it quits cause the benches were taken (guess it was a delayed national chest day )

Made the epic n00b mistake of rocking a tank top to squat it, and mind you, I have no chalk. Many a near death moments racking and unracking. :roflmao:

That's exactly how I feel anymore. I moved 1200lbs of weights to and from the pulling truck Saturday night and I'm still hurting from it. For some reason I couldn't talk the wife into doing it. They are only 100lb suitcase weights
