Its always the cleans that make the back door breeze for me. That catch at the bottom wrings it out good.

Week 5 Candito, projected max stuff:

280x2 on bench today. I'll bump that input up for next cycle starting monday.

I'm going to leave the squat and deadlift numbers the same because I haven't squatted over 300 or pulled over 400 since I had that little issue. I'm sure the maxes I'm using are low, but that is ok for this round.

Also did press:
6x135
6x155
6x160
4x165

Row:
12x135
10x155
8x185
6x205
4x215

and 12,12,10,8 pullups on these little devils: http://www.roguefitness.com/cannonball-grips

Well my guns have been getting sore deadlifting... I don't want to tear a Bicep, so I thought maybe I should stop ignoring them. Besides my Triceps are much bigger stronger than my Biceps, definitely imbalanced:D

Don't hitch the weight and you shouldn't have any bicep issues with deads.

Not hitching... Pretty sure it has something to do with forcing the biceps forward in the pull to engage the lats harder. New technique I have been trying out. That's when I noticed them getting sore... My triceps are way more developed than my Bi's anyway, time for some symmetry. #aestheticpowerlifter:rofl:

Interesting.. I just pull weight off the floor, don't really think to much about how I do it :roflmao:

Be careful, narrow stance is much more quad dependent and can lead to angry knees. Be sure to stretch and listen to your body.

You will lift more with a wide stance posterior chain heavy squat. But, whatever feels good is best.

I'm always wide but I thing I'm not as flexible wide. If i put my hands out against the weights I can go low wide. If i grab the bar narrower and put my feet wide it's like my body pushes itself forward because I can't bend like that. I just feel more flexible going narrower. Guess I need to stretch more lol

Havent posted here in a while but have been trying to recover from my shoulder strain.

Did a killer chest workout Saturday.

Pyramid set on flat bench
225x10
265x8
315x6
315x4
365x1
385x1 <-- New Personal Record
315x4
275x6
255x8
225x12

Incline bench to failure 4 sets (used 4x 25 lb plates each side)
15-20 second rest between sets, basically enough to take off the plates

245x12
195x13
145x15
95x22

Then incline and decline standing cable crossovers.

3 sets 25 for 15 reps decline
3 sets 20 for 15 reps incline
pushups to failure between sets

Total burnout. Felt good as hell. Was especially stoked about benching 385 for my 1 rep max. Gonna do a max this week on everything on fresh energy and see how it goes.
