Advice on? The apache or the 6.0 Swap?

Apache. How is parts availability? I'm so used to 67-72 parts being everywhere for cheap.

Trying to decide between a 67-72 k20 longbed, a 60-66 shortbed, or venture over to the car side for a 64-67 chevelle for the next project.

I've done a few 66-72 trucks and love them, but am ready to mix it up. Always had a soft spot for first gen chevelles.

Quick hitter yesterday.

5x5 bench at 205
5x8 DB press at 45
5x8 chest supported row

11 minutes of crossfit-ish stuff (box jumps, db high pulls, light snatches, and ring dips) and I did all strict paused dips to show the cardio bunnies what is possible.

On the GHD face down, 3x20 of each, superset:
-reverse fly
-windmill
-shoulder press

Did that with five pound plates and still about lost my lunch. Accessory work has been intense recently. Did a bi and tri finisher the other day that required deadlift straps.

I guess I can get on the no homo train, right? Sled drags last weekend (Denver was 65 degrees!) I'm still a scale-crushing 173 lbs. due to weight class options at the next few meets.

As far as I can tell you can buy anything for them. I just posted mine for sale, another rig popped up I pretty wont let myself not buy.

Rowed last night as rest day.

5x1000m with 3 minutes rest between rounds. Start at 2:00/500m pace and shave 2 seconds total time each round.

Sprinted to the end and saw 1:31 on the screen at one point for split time. Thought the machine was going to let the smoke out!

Same thing happened last night. Found an original, 98% rust free stepside shortbed 69 with numbers motor and trans for $1800! I would be all over that if I didn't just spend last weekend on a full new harness. Ugh. Timing sucks.

Mine is totally covered in surface rust outside. I've hit it with purple scotchbrite and cleared it all. The idea was to throw that junk together for less than $2500 out of parts I have at the shop and just flog it all summer.

Old school. SBC, 4 speed, manual steering and brakes, no AC, stock height, clean interior, leave the rest as is.

My gym is supposed to be getting a football bar soon. Looking forward to bench pressing again with a neutral grip.

Killed bench yesterday about the same as last week, worked up to a single with 335 and went back down.

Decades today
225x5
315x5
355x3
405x3
455x3
And jumped to 495 for a triple as well been sticking to my 3s and 5s and it's helping for sure. I used to pyramid with high reps low weight and added weight and dropped reps as I went. Just sticking to the 5s and 3s help the heavy weight sets alot. Then did pull downs, rows and a few small things to burn out what deads didn't already take lol. At 248 pound body weight.

Guess who failed out with 225 on inclined

Flat bench
225x10
275x5
295x3
315x3
325x1
275x5

Inclined 5 sets of 5 and failed on the last rep of the last set.
I can always get the weight out of the hole, but about halfway up it was like slow motion lol. Brought it down to my waist and got out from under it pretty easily, but a 130 pound kid walked over and helped me get it back on the rack lol. I have no excuses I just didn't have that last one lol. Then I spotted the kid after that, happends to the best of us I guess.
Then did flies and a few small burnout things and bounced lol.

Yoke picks. Worked to 880lbs single.

Squats:
3x83% (310)
10x60% (225)
3x83%+5lbs (315)
10x60%+5lbs (230)
3x83%+10lbs (320)
10x60%+10lbs (235)

After doing yoke picks into deep 800s, the bar was moving FAST on all squats. :thumb:

Sled: single plate sprints, 50'. 1:1 rest with your partner's turn. Run it back and forth until you want to puke, then do 3 more. :D

That would make me puke Bennett lol.

Bench and squats today, back is feeling good but making sure not to over do it... Hard to keep the ego in ck lol. been putting the belt on but leaving it unlatched just to get used to it being on again. I levered it up last week for a set and thought it would cut me in half... Holidays have been good, sitting at 215 again.

Bench
259x3sx10r
281x6
281x5
303x3sx3r

High bar squats
225x3sx10r
250x10

How do yinz feel about decline bench? I’ve been doing it on chest day even though it’s more shoulders. I have an easier time with it compared to flat. My arms stay closer to my body and my shoulder never hurts afterward.

Nice work!
Never cared for decline Chris. I did it for a year or so and didn’t notice much of a gain for my flat bench. Can post a video of your bench for me?
Started a new workout,shes tough
Holy volume Matt lol
