Hit a 283lb back squat last night! Felt super light should have had 293 but let it get to my head ugh! Goal is 300lb back squat before the end of the year

Alright starting Wednesday...barring I don't have to go drag an elk out of the mountains I'm going back to the gym...probably do either starting strength or 5x5

Guess I wont..wife cancelled the gym since we haven't had the time since the baby was born. Maybe I'll join PF for $1 and $10 a month

Anyone make the Raw National power lift met in Orlando?

No but my friend Jamey Grotjahn went, masters 1a 120+ lifter. He took second in masters and 5th in the open. 645 squat, 551 bench, 707 dead lift iirc. Big Ray squated 1030 and missed 1100...

barring injury I plan on making raw nats in 2018. My total from 2 years ago is enough to qualify, should be able to put over 100 pounds on that easily. Ranked 499 out of 1000. Need to bump that up some lol

Idk about he bench saw a 100k
I know 8of 9 lift where good and he said majority of the guys in his class where in the 700lb range.. he was towards the tail end of everyone... considering he had prostate cancer and torn rotator cuff in last two years.. he's doing pretty good.

Went to train legs today, havnt got to the last two weeks. On my third light set of squats and pain down my right leg. Walked out after 10 minutes in the gym..

I hiked 8 miles sunday. 2 in with pack and gun, 2 out with pack including hind quarter of elk and , then 2 back with pack and gun, then 2 back out with pack including front quarter and the head plus gun. Buddy got the same minus the head. Done by 12:30.

Monday was 5 miles of hiking and looking for cows but saw a bird and that was it.

Today was 8 miles of hiking and saw 3 birds and no elk or deer. Loaded mine up and came home.

Training snuck up on me. Today was 5x5 squats at 300, and felt super fast, easy at the bottom.

Been working foot position a ton. Moving stance out wider with good result.

20 rounds for time:
-10 calorie row
-1 stone to shoulder, 100 pounder

Now I'm looking at three kabobs and a pile of roasted veggies.

Speaking of, I've been hitting intra carb and have less in meals outside of workouts. About 150% as much fat per day compared to before introducing intra back in.

Anyone else time food or anything more structured?
