Burn Down, how long have you been working with that 6 week candito action? How do you like it?
Going on 5 months now... I really like the structure and rep ranges. You really have to push your optional deadlift days to get your Deadlift to go up. My training partner and I didn't catch that the first couple cycles and my deads really stalled, once I figured that out it's been steadily climbing towards that elusive 500 pull...
It has you Squatting, Benching & Deadlifting a couple times a week at least... I think that was key in getting my squat to go up.
Mick's Program was the absolute hardest training program I have ever done in my life... Being a rookie to powerlifting I made a few mistakes and didn't capitalize on my full potential during that program. I will try it again here soon though, I think I'm experienced enough to recognize when I'm over my head now
My meet is this weekend & It's my first one in the Masters 1A division... Hoping for some really good lifts. I will do a break down of pretty much everything since last May to the results of this meet. I am very curious to see how much I gained in 7-8 months.
