Still boring deload:

EMOM 10:
1 jerk + 1 split jerk: 55% 1RM. Freaky fast. Felt great. I'll hit a big shoulder to overhead soon. I'm feeling deep 200's with no split. I'll channel my inner Kendrick Farris.

EMOM 20:
1. 10-20-30 Shuttle sprint on the turf
2. Single arm farmer carry: Handles plus 100 lbs
3. Sandbag carry: Front
4. 3 box jumps ( High AF )

Slammed a preworkout on the way to the gym for my lunch.
Row 1000m in 3:30 to warm up, some stretching.
Squats. Bar x15, 95 x10, 135 x10, 135 x5 x2s, 155 x5, 175 x3, 195 x6. Straight into deads.
Deads conventional. 135 x10, 155 x5, 175 x5, 195 x6. Finished in 28 minutes include the warm up. Fuggin gassed. I dunno how matt squats so heavy and so fast, I'd die

Legs are pissed from yesterday...odd because was less volume and 5lbs less weight than Monday and they weren't sore at all.

Bench. Bar x20, 95x10, 135x10, 135x5x2, 155x5, 170x3, 185 x6 x3s...tired meow. Wish I got as amped up for bench as I did for squats.
Some machine row...barbell makes the back unhappy and as Albert knows unhappy back makes for long days and not as easy to lift heavy.
Standing shoulder press...nothing major...barely 1/2 my body weight.
Lat PD. Need to get this up alot so I can crank out more than 4 fugly bodyweight pullups

Yes. Staple status.

You won't notice until you see a guy jerk big weight, but even then he moves more than the bar, so it is tough to see. Toss one on your back and things get hilarious past 225. I change out to a power bar for all squats, and any rack/band/pin work.

Oly bars have a wider knurl pattern as well. Not sure what's up with that; it's not a oly rule, so something must drive the power bar layout...? I hate that they even make power bars that don't have center knurl.

Women's O bars are 25mm. I can't imagine what that looks like even at 200 pounds. So Katie, you're probably spending more effort at the bottom to turn it around than needed on a max attempt. Also, math is easier in 5's... We're here to get strong, not smart!

The deload continues, and I'm glad.

Snatch polish sesh. 15 min on the minute, heavy singles. 80%. Second pull is fast right now. About jumped out of my shoes. :D

15 Minutes to hit a heavy single front squat. Felt sluggish and tight hips after sitting in the truck all day... 305 was plenty for today.

Mmk need some legit insight. Not sure what it generally takes to hit 300 time wise so do I put a 6 month or a 12 month time limit for goal or? I know my back is a big target this year and I'd like to sneak up on the 300 in squat and or deads. Bench I'm after 225 x10 but doubtful this year but we shall see

I have only used a early 80's Texas Power Bar and an Eleiko Comp bar that I was terrified to f up for oly stuff. I will say that I hit a 225 power clean on that Eleiko after not doing/practicing one for 18 years. The older Texas Bar is whippy as heck compared to an Ohio Power bar. The guy that owned that Eleiko would f-ing kill someone if that bar went into squat rack haha!

Squats are weird as hell with no center knurl. The gym in Kauai had a bunch with no center and several bent ones with center knurl, f bent bar bells...

Did you ever get your max numbers? And how long did you follow through on Candito?

Depends on your max now. For me it was much easier to DL heavy than squat. Do you pull sumo or conventional?

Had to cease all dairy intake for a week to let my body calm down. Lost a few pounds on the scale but I think it was mostly water weight. Weighed in at an earth shaking 148. :D
