Your saying back off my cardio ? And step up my game in lifting?

Back off on wheats and sugars. I need to read up on macros because I really don't understand that whole ordeal like I do calories.

I'm not saying more or less of either. But more lifting is always good.

What i'm saying is that if fat loss is the goal, you can manipulate food intake AND/OR activity for that output. I have had better luck modifying my food than I have with adding cardio for the specific goal of fat loss, but you may like doing it differently.

Having diet spot on will make whatever you do that much more effective and fast, but some guys can't keep their activity on lock if they are on a tight diet.

What I always screw up is eating enough when I'm on a cut. I eat super strict slow carb when cutting, but struggle to eat enough meat just because of the volume it takes.

Personally I would just track your macros for a couple 3 weeks and then post up your basic average days and your high days. Lets see where your at. And as Mile High mentioned weights are always a good thing if done properly. Muscle burns fat all on its own.

I don't usually max and haven't had a spotter in about 2 months. But i hit a new 3 rep on squat.
I got a squirrel tournament this weekend and didn't want wobbley sore legs for that so switched back and leg day.
225 x 10 like usual
275 x 10
315 for 8 that was a suprise
335 for 5 still shocked I was doing so well
Said he'll with it and threw 5s on and did 345 for 4.
Pretty sure that's the most I've had on a squat bar that I can remember. Did 335 a few weeks ago for 3. Also got a compliment on how deep I was going so definitely a motivating day. Can't believe what some of you guys are putting up at your body weights. I was 241 today.

Nice job Jesse:thumb: those are great numbers no matter the B-weight:hug:

Always that deceiving endorphin rush that lasts all day and then the next day wake up feeling the workout. Twisted stuff :roflmao:

Oh ya, I'm going to be broke the F off for a day or 2:thumb:

Dude your squat is impressive. I wish like heck my back would hold up enough to go after 500... At this rate I'm going to be happy to get back to 405:D

I'm a short fire plug, so literally having less than two finger gap between rib and hip helps squat

I'm puny compared to you filthy animals. Whopping 175 dressed but I did put up 165 x15 on the bench with no spotter. I think I had a few more if I'd had a safety

My goal is to be around 215. Of course im sacrificing a loss in power for a loss in body weight. However, dips and pullups are easier now.
