Mmm I enjoy these shoes, SQWAATS are so much fun meow.
Squats. 45x10, 135x5, 180x10...dear lord was I gassed!!!. Plugged that into the Candito app and woo now we got 185x3 for 5 sets. Felt good, no knee issues, wobble or caving and hips didn't wiggle around. Must've just been from being tight.
Sumo deads...never done these and damn did they feel weird at first. Once I pinned the form these are nice. 135x5, 180x8 for 3 sets...was like cardio in doing those in 8 min.
Single leg press 50x4, 60x4, 80x4
Leg ext...120x10, 135x10, 150 x10

Done, winded, sweaty...went and got my new coffee maker since the last one died this morning. 10 years on it so I won't bitch lol

I just got a keurig for free, loving that bitch.

Tore up bench, 225 x 10
295 x 5
Then the 58 year old man and the 47 year old power lifter I was working with pushed me to do 315 x 3's for about 5 sets. Definitely killed it, did tons of inclined bench after that at 205 for reps. Then cable flies and triceps and bounced.

Cal Strength and Jon North are some names I hadn't thought about in a long time before watching that second video. Did North get a pro card? I remember when he started trimming up really tight but I haven't followed him on anything for a couple years.

He didn't compete to my knowledge... Just trained and cut up like a mofo but never followed through. I heard he had a heart attack or some shit, you would have to get on his youtube and look back through the videos.

Trying to get on this band wagon guys, I work from 5-3 at my primary job then go work out at the gym an hour a day, then go to my shop and work on trucks on the side. Get home late and start it all over again. I'm 220 and hurt my should, ac seperation stage 5. Looking to beef up but need a new diet. I'd like to be down around the 200 range, 6'1" and really want to beef up my upper body!

So first thing first, do you guys have a sticky thread that or something about a good diet, come from an itialian family so I'm assuming you all know what I eat most of the time....

Ive got will power, I've got self discipline, I just need a guide. Diets don't work, more or less a looking for a life style change is what I'm looking for. I just don't understand how others do it, I feel already as if I'm racing time instead of paying attention to health/body conditioning.

I was pretty happy with myself until I crashed pretty bad on the track and my dirtbike landed on my shoulder, month out of doing anything was torture mentally but significantly more physically. Looking at surgery in the future too. Trying to avoid that at all cost.

A. Work to heavy double hang snatch. Slow off the knees. Stayed light and worked turnover. 155 felt so slow, went to 135 and hit a set each minute for 16 minutes.

B. 10x3 Back Squats. Started 240 and worked to 300 by tens. No belt.

C. 10x3 Bulgarian split squats. 95lbs.

D. Use the handicap ramp on the way out to the truck so I don't bust my face on the stairs.

What kind of exercise are you going to be able to sustain, Cardio, Weights, Both, Power Lifting, Olympic Lifting, Crossfit?

If you train like an animal you can be a lot more loose with your diet, if not....

And I hate the word "Diet" for loosing weight. What you eat is your Diet, period. You either eat in a caloric surplus or deficit.

I'm 41 and have broken my share of bones, separated shoulders, etc... I'm stronger now than I have ever been. If I can do it and find the time then anyone can, you just have to make it a priority.

I second what Albert is saying. Listen to these fellas on here as they have put in the time and effort to know what works and how to achieve the goals. Like mentioned either eat like you mean it to gain and grow or eat slightly less than what you burn and you will trim, but it has to be the correct ratio of macros. Start by tracking your food for a week or 2. I used my fitness pal app by under armor. That will give you a base to make adjustments to. Also sugar and soda is your enemy. These guys on here will help you along and none of them will put you down, they will guide you best they can from where they are...I know I'm greatful for the the drive and inspiration I get from seeing them do good. It makes me want to do the same. Thanks fellas.

Today woo f me Ima have them DOMS for a few days. Stetching and rolling for 15 min to start.
Squats...barx10, 95x5, 135x6, 185 x10<---felt like dieing lol. 5 min rest then 175x3 for 10 sets...45-60 sec rest between sets.
Conventional deads. 135 x5 x2 sets for warm up.
Sumo. 185x8 for 3 sets. Holy sheet was I gassed. I dunno how Lts1ow does these cardio squat sessions at high weight...I'd die lol. Lots of stretching and rolling after. Left hammy and glue where they meet got pretty tight/borderline sore. Going to have to use a ball on that knot. Thanks for suggesting Candito, loving it so far.
