Awww yea, thats a nice front squat Albert. :thumb:

Today was a "lite" workout

Squat
3x 285
3x335
3x380
3x455
3x455

First set of 455 was rough, that jump was too much IMO, I should have known better.
Thanks Matt. I missed this a couple months ago with way less volume before the attempt. Legs are growing just need my back to behave, been a slow rehab:(

380 to 455 is a big step, I bet that first rep had your attention:D
Watched the video today.

I am going to try and use some of the cues Max was talking about.

I may give it a try tomorrow but not sure if im going to squat yet, my lower back is still fried
Good stuff in that vid, take them slow when your ready. Focus on the movements before the weight

I'm going to try and high bar 3s x 15r x 135, 4th set will be 15 and however many more to failure then a rest pause. That's my goal anyways. According to my squats the past 8 weeks I "should" be able to but we'll see at 5am

Go easy Brock focus on the movement before the weight, High bar will feel really odd coming from low bar.

Drank my dinner tonight.. Then had a peanut butter and jelly....
My guess is Beer. Hang in there Corbin:hug:

Yeah at this point in my training, my focus is hypertrophy. High bar has never been a favorite movement, always low bar, but hopefully I'll get something out of it

I feel like the quads get hammered much harder high bar, less back involved. I have a tendency to good morning the weight up when I get fatigued low bar. Traced it back to weak quads... I must say since doing way more high bar and front squats my quads are really starting to come around. Knee sleeves are a bitch to get on as of late:thumb: Come on wheels!

Squats, leg press, leg extensions, Romanian deadlifts, and lying leg curls yeaterday. Legs are sore.

Only thing worth reporting
4s x 15r x 125 and then 6 more after a rest pause

I read a ton of stuff suggested by Albert and others in this thread. Alot of the diet stuff I read was craziness having you make these drastic changes which ultimately lead most to fail a diet. Can't remember where I read it at but best advice for me said start with small changes to your diet and work your way up.

For me that meant going from 2 20oz bottles of mtn dew a day down to 1 12oz can. After a few weeks I went to nothing but water. Then I went from pb&j lunch with puddings and such to grilled chicken breast, rice, steamed vegis, almonds. Lost almost 20lbs over 6 months and haven't looked back.

Albert and the other guys on here are definitely inspirational and will give tons of help along the way

Dumb question, is there any ingredients in Walmart c4 sport that would cause you to go crazy?

I had to stop taking large amounts of creatine a few years ago because I woukd basically roid rage..

I've since taken smaller amounts and been fine...

I've been very pissy since I started taking c4, or maybe it's just a coincidence.. (About a month or so)

Well I may look inspirational, but I bring a lot of negativity in here..

Your more of an inspiration than you think, hell you work out twice as hard as I do. I barely accomplish anything at the gym anymore

I'm on week 10 of that shortcut to size and loving it. Picked up a nitric oxide suppliment and holy shit do I get an insane pump. It's frigging awesome. I just wish I had a workout out buddy so I could really push every set to the max
