It happens to all of us Brock. Just be careful on your off days and don't push past your comfort zone. Injuries Suck!

The usual body check up after a shower, inguinal lymph node was sore and swollen. Freaked out cause I couldn't tell if it was a hernia or lymph and figured with the heavy lifting I do a hernia was to be expected.

1000mg of abx a day later and no hernia :eek:

Question, why is the sumo deadlift easier for me than conventional? My thought is because my legs & arms are long and a widened stance allows for easier movement. Is there any detriment to using the sumo style? No BS, I feel like I could pull 315 sumo.

Usually leverages and shorter ROM required

It's all in your leverages Chris. I can pull more conventional than Sumo, only because my hip flexors and groin muscles get super pissed at me with Sumo during a training cycle. Starts out great and about 4-5 weeks Im so sore I can't hardly squat let alone pull...

So update, i have eaten clean for one week now. One more week and then back to the gym. Waitong so i can get my nody shocked to the diet and also to let the lack of energy catch up simce i am eating clean, mostly chicken breast and broccoli or green neans, i need to add some carba back. Right now only doing black berriea in am for carbs

I eat oatmeal, bananas, rice and sweet potatoes as my carbs. Chicken, beef, eggs, egg whites, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese and whey for my proteins and peanut butter, almonds and mixed nuts for the fats...seems to be working but man is it a boring diet lol

No need to beat yourself to death with food you think is boring.

Eat what you want and fit it in your macros, just choose foods that digest well for you and that you enjoy.

I love oatmeal

Oh I enjoy eating it all. When I'm tired of oatmeal I have 2 slices or 9 grain wheat toast and eggs. When I'm over chicken I eat burgers or steak and then go back

Pulled 275x3 today. New PR for me. Only 10 pounds from 2x my BW.

This powerlifting thing really helped my golf game. I added about 30 yards to my drive and no more slice! Posterior chain FTW!

Took a week off...body definitely needed it. Shoulder was starting to hurt. Feels amazing so I went in and did bench, triceps, calves.

Yesterday was rest day and wife was begging me to go to the gym with her. So I want but I wasn't sure what to do. Ended up getting in a argument with the ex over our 5 yr old son and she said let's go to court...now that I was steaming mad I needed to go to the gym

Did Arnolds Blueprint chest and back workout....really like the pump I got off it. Will be doing it in a few weeks.

Downer this morning doing shrugs on my left side I had a muscle from my trap to my skull make a pop noise on the right side...neck is bound up tight and hurts like a mofo. Ice and heat with some light rubbing to try and loosen it up. Hoping to be good to go tomorrow to at least work...workout I'll play by ear but leaning more towards Monday for next workout.

Speaking of weight, dunno wtf happened as I was eating like a horse but I somehow went from 181 to 171 in 3 weeks without noticing...now I've got to start all over on getting up to 185...FML
