Smoked my chest, biceps, triceps and lats this morning...update at lunchtime. Arms are super fatigued...about dem gains

Ok so here we go.

Started with 500 row to get warm then stretched for 10 min.

Flat bench med grip
8 sets 3 reps every minute on the minute 135

Incline bench/chin up superset
95x12. 5 chin up
105x12. 5 chin up
95x12. 5 chin up
95x12. 5 chin up

Dumbell flat bench/dumbell row superset x4

30's x15. 30x15. 1 min rest between

Alt dumbell curl/close grip bench x3 superset

20's 12r per arm. 95x12 1 min rest between

Iso dumbell curls/rope pull down extra superset x3

15 x 15 rep per arm. 60x15 1 min rest between.


Had a hell off a time getting my shirt off afterwords lol....loved every minute

Went to the Chiro at lunch to get adjusted.. Not sure but I think I'm worse now than I was, I was hurting before but I can't sit in my truck seat of hardly stand up. Took off work this afternoon for the first time I can remember.. Getting really tired of these back problems..

Went to the chiropractor today myself to get the first treatment for my shoulder and back. He didn't break me to hard since it was the first time then they did electro shock therapy on it. He wants me to go back 2 times a week for 6 weeks. Hopefully it helps.

Sucks about your guys backs, mine was bothering me me the last 2 days but is good now. I did weigh in at 240.6 today so pounds are still dropping. Should look just slightly bulky if I drop another ten pounds lmao

Ever since adding in a heavy 3x5 deadlift once a week my clean and jerk numbers have gone up. Last night that 175lbs complex felt pretty easy. Thank you

Been going to a spinal specalist.. He isn't pushing an mri because of the dollar amount to have one and he wants to treat it as a disc issue first since he is 99% sure that's what my problem is. So far the last month hasn't yeilded much for results.. Not really sure where to go from here, getting discouraged and not being able to go to the gym and move some weight aRound really sucks. I've got about 10 people telling me to get a cortisone shot and just go on. My guy doesn't like that idea as it just masks the problem and I'll probably end up makin it worse.

Any ideas anyone? Core work, stretching, breathing, icing, etc.. Doing all of that..

Even if your guy isn't pushing an MRI you should probably be... wouldn't you prefer to know exactly what's wrong as opposed to a best guess?

In all my years dealing with lower back weakness/tightness/discomfort I learned very quickly that you cannot! put a price on health. Isn't that why we lift? No-one wants lifting to negatively impact their lives

Got back in there this week. I felt super weak on the bench. Could only muster up 135x6. It felt much heavier than it was! Lol. Deadlift stayed at 205. Good news is I gained 5 lbs. Finally back over 140. :) Been eating like a horse.

Question, is it okay to deadlift without shoes? I wear only Nike Air Max, it felt like there is too much cushion. Took my shoes off and it was much easier to push into the ground.

No shoes are fine if your feet are up for it:thumb:

I wear Nike Inflict wrestling shoes for my Deads. I f-ing love that shoe!
