Im also getting back into the swing of things. Coming from a sciatic nerve inflammation that lasted several months late last year.

Not being able to touch your toes at 25 y/o is a shame lol.

Hmm, what all does this entail? How accurate?

Dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. Its a density scanner mounter to a bed basically. It is comparable in accuracy to MRI/CT and those are crazy expensive.

It was less than $60/ person when I signed us both up, thanks to a Broncos Super Bowl discount code. :thumb:

Anyway, it took about 5 minutes and discovered any imbalance side to side in arms, legs, trunk, and so on. It measures lean mass, fat, and bone density. It is claimed to be the most accurate body fat testing method out there. I signed up to go again this summer with a deep discount, so I'll see how they track back to back results.

Same man. Some days I feel pretty good. Bent over rows for example, feel great during the movement, once I start to stand upright tho it's like a knife finds its way into my back again lol.

Sounds about right... I have a MRI scheduled for next week, time to figure out what the heck is going on and what needs to be done to fix it.

Stuck in garden city kansas for a few weeks so joined the ymca for $15 for 2 weeks. Figure I can get a good start. Been eating super clean so hoping that I can trim down. Weighed in at 177.5 last tuesday so we shall see what I'm at end of next week

Nice Nick:thumb: I always have had a soft spot for the olympic stuff. Something about chucking 300+ pounds overhead is bad ass:D

On a side note I did some acc. stuff today and was finally able to start doing pullups again. I hurt my left shoulder being a dumbass a couple months back and it relegated me to only being able to use the cable lat pull down.

2x10 wide grip strict pull ups.

Shoulder was just a little sore but not bad.
bunch of other sh*t jsut chasing a pump:D

Did some rope sled pulls with 5 45's. Probably about 100 yards forward and a 100 yards backwards.

Dead treadmill sprints
6-7 rounds can't remember forsure.

Stretching and rolling.

The whole purpose of my lifting was to become a better more consistent golfer. I feel Olympic Weightlifting is a great avenue for that.

Finally some love for O lifting in here! If you can learn to push the ground and open your hips and harness the power those movements create, you can apply it to any sport.
