Wow you are old

Thanks Albert. Anyone with kids knows you can't put these emotions into words.

Old huh? Lets go to the gym youngster:hug:

Kids will take a young immature kid and make them a Man instantly... I grew up extremely fast, well maybe not totally grown up;)

So, I told you guys about the two Neanderthals I train with once in awhile...
This is Jamey 6'5" 330 pounds 41 years old USAPL/IPF 2016 Masters World Team competitor.
Jamey will be competing with me next saturday. He is training for worlds but is using this meet as a conservative tune up meet.
Also Jamey had a bad accident on a motorcycle and really tore his leg up about 10 years ago. Calf still looks pretty gnarly. Just shows that you can do just about anything if you want it bad enough:thumb:

Im saying f it and calling a spinal specialist Monday, I'm tired of my back hurting all the time. Been waiting on insurance coverage but they keep screwing me around.

I'm Shane from North Carolina, I pray your wife and child are both safe and healthy throughout the whole joyful time! Just had our second, a daughter born in October on my dads birthday. Our son will be 4 next month and I wouldn't change any of it.

Good to meet ya Shane. Thanks man, congrats on yours too!

Yep, I'm there currently Nick... Coach prescribed weekend off, rest, refeed on food. I think I toasted my CNS a bit. So hopefully some much needed rest and I can get my head back in this before my meet:thumb:

Congrats Corbin that's awesome. Oh BTW that manifold came out just fine off that 02.

I haven't lifted in like 10-12 days. Been eating the same but haven't had the motivation to get up at 4 and go lift. Need to get back to it. My chest, triceps, and biceps are coming along nicely but f my legs are weeeee little toothpics

You guys are making me feel young :D Congrats on the baby Corbin!

I did a 405 triple yesterday, really wanted to do more but cut myself off before I hurt myself.

Albert, any advice on a decent PL program to run? I don't wanna do a lighter program like 5/3/1 but I am not on gear so Smolov/Sheiko concerns me. Thoughts?

Matt, I'm running Jesse Norris's program. It's pretty brutal, and nothing like you have ever done before... It's 200 bucks for an 8 week program set up around your maxes. You can stretch it out to 12 weeks by doubling up the first 4 weeks. I can't stress how much of a bargain it is for the money.

I e-mail him weekly with updates or videos. He has always gotten back to me within a day or two. I always get several paragraphs for a response:thumb:

The guy is a multi time world champion and record holder and is arguably one of the greatest powerlifters we may ever see, even better than Coan... [email protected] You can shoot him an e-mail at chat about your goals and see if if your a good fit for his programming.

Or, I really liked Candito's free 6 week program. He doesn't dead lift a lot but I made some good progress with it. http://www.canditotraininghq.com/free-strength-programs/

I also have a bunch of free programs that I got from several people over the last couple years. If you want PM me your e-mail and I can send them to you. You just punch in your numbers and they calculate your workouts.
