I can most assure you that I'm 1,000% better by taking care of my spinal and muscle health... Your back from what I have gathered is beyond what a chiro can repair... But the right massage therapist WILL help, you have to do the investigating to find out who is good:thumb:

Have you ever used a pre work out thermogenic?
This stuff I'm using from GNC is amazing!
Using it I will literally "shed a layer" 24hrs after an intense work out, that just on me, 1 week of using that an my abs looked shredded...makes me sweat like crazy during a workout too:thumb:

A little of both... I need to be at 205 on the 20th. I'm just cutting slowly so I don't sacrifice strength. And I don't want to be a total fat ass for my selfie:rofl:

That workout was pretty tough and I was happy to get what I got. 12 hours at work and then 2.5 hours in the gym.

I will have to research the ingredients on the those thermogenics can't get popped on a drug test:thumb:

The product I'm using/talking about is from GNC's "Beyond Raw" line and is called "Re-Pump"

It is creatine free, utilizes green coffee bean extract, carnitine and CLA, among other things... It's over the counter? I was told that GNC doesn't label anything you can't use in a comp? But I have no clue what the sanctions are for your sport

At the very least you could use a thermogenic all the way up to a few days before and piss it out before the day of...all I know is it works!

Wtf???? There is stuff called "craze" and it has a chemical composition that resembles that of a Meth like substance??? Screw that:eek: thanks for the insight, I'll make sure to steer clear of it if I see it...

I was told by the counter person at GNC that their "GNC name brand" doesn't get put on a product you can't use in a comp, I'm SURE there is stuff in the store they sell that you can get popped for tho

I've actually been pretty impressed with the ingredients found in the GNC products I've used so far and their commitment to "clean product"...as I'm getting more into it, I see where using powdered proprietary "blends" may not be the "best" way to get the nutrients in, but it does seem to work...and I'm not about to start weighing out grams of food, supplements or anything else...lol

Went to the gym last night. That was a first for me. Usually go in the am when no one is there. You get some strange looks when youre the skinny guy doing deads. Lol. Up to 175 in a set of 6. Gonna try a one rep max in another week or two. Doing 205 on the leg press with ease. Im starting to really like leg day now.

Im thinking of adding squats in the next month. You meatheads have any tips or warnings for me?

I feel ya about being the skinny guy :rolleyes:

I'm no meat head, but my 2 cents is start working squatting techniques into your routine now!
Add in a goblet squat...
I just started adding these I to my routine to train me for proper squat form and get my core/back muscles engaged and ready for the real deal...the goblet squat is great because it will help you learn where/how your body/feet want to set up and position for an actual squat

Also, your legs are the biggest muscle group, and the largest muscles in your body, they need fuel to make gains, I notice I expend 2x the energy when I do leg work. Keep that in mind on leg days, lunges aren't a bad idea either, start isolating those quads and get them prepped and ready for some squats...

Prepping yourself for success is paramount!

Chris do you have a belt? I would advise buying a good one. For squat technique? You're probably gonna wanna start low bar squating unless you're already very mobile is ankles, thoracic spine, shoulders and hips. I think to gain proper form you need to either get a good coach or buy a book and watch some YouTube videos. The book and program called Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe is great
