I got a freebie from bodybuilding when I bought a bunch of stuff a few months back. Talk about cheap but it was free so I won't complain. But that bag looks legit man

Holy hello I deadlifted in my new belt... Keeps the lower back in such a better position. Lots of support. I was up to 5x300lbs no belt and it strained the shit out of my lower back. Gives me hope of that 400lb deadlift some day :D

Merry Christmas fellow meat heads!

I just smashed some arms and deadlifts.. Used my new belt and all I can say is DAYUM Its awesome! Felt so much better than the crappy old one I've been using. Pulled a 415 and held at lockout for 3 sec..

Do you guys use a belt when you squat as well? Wondering of maybe it'd be a good idea even with the light weight I do just because of my back?

Yes. But usually only when I get into heavier weights. If you have back problems though it would be a good idea. That and a lot core strengthening work. Core work helped my back more than anything

I just don't know what all to do for core as it seems crunches and situps on the floor seem to make it flare up. What do you experienced guys recommend.

Oh and when I say light weight I only squat and dead 135 max right now as I won't try and push my limits

By the way I've been told by many old school lifters that all you need is heavy weight on your back to strengthen your core and lower back... Biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard. My core was never more weak when I stopped doing core work outs 5 big lifts instead.

What about lying on back leg raises, 6", planks, hang from your elbows or hands and raise the legs/knees up, you could even use bands around your thighs for more resistance.

Use the belt anytime your core feels unstable. I have worn my belt for about every exercise there is, no shame in that;)

Don't forget that the core is much more than your abs being strong guys... Your core is from the chest to your crotch and the traps to the glutes, and the oblique's on the sides. I honestly rarely do any crunch work. If you are bracing your core properly your abs should be getting a heck of a work out. I will hit abs once in awhile when I'm looking for filler work.

Core bracing for big lifts is critical to your health and is a technique that needs to be mastered.
