My sled trailer doesn't weigh much(maybe 3500lbs) but I rarely tow anything with my truck. Plenty of power on tap and egts were no issue. At some point I need to hook it to an actual load and see how this 72R/TCT483 combo likes it.

What makes it a PITA? Trying to tie it down? Looks like it would be about as easy to tie down as a bread bowling ball. Everywhere good to tie to has parts that will get broken...

Tie down wasn't too bad.. The angle iron holding the HYD cooler was ample strong for front tie down.. Ran a strap between the motor and HYD tank...

The PITA is tarping.. In such away the wind doesn't rip/flap the tarp which leads to damaged tarp and load..
The trap itself is almost $400.00 new.

Yeah I can see why tapping it would be a PITA. Saw a flatbed that has a rolling tarp which made it look like a box van. expensive, but was nice as the driver could cove the entire trailer in under 5 minutes.

Well holy crap I used to work at that very Rossville store, was talking to one of my former co-workers today and he was telling me about this sweet crossman aluminum gooseneck that made an EBY seem like a toy, and took off with a head.
