Wicked lookin ride. Looks like there s more room in the chevelle s engine compartment than the silverados
For right now the Hughes XP5, but he will be getting a Rosler 4L80 for it when I need my Trans back. I told him he can run the Race season with the built LBZ Nova motor though.

I may be giving Rosler a call this winter to see what he can do for the trans out of the van.
He's got some pretty wicked cars running them, but the tq is in question. He says he will stand behind it though $4500.
I've got a trans from Jake's Performance now, and it can't make it more than a few trips to the track before it starts slipping. The hard parts seem to be holding up just fine so far, but that's only at around 600 HP.
That sucks! Rosler has cars passed 1400hp holding up, but their tq is less then our 800hp trucks, we shall see.. I'm going to try an Alli in the Nova, should be a fun fit. If I can't get it to work right in a lite car, I know I can sell it lol.
Looks like we will be hitting the New Years Day Race at Sacramento Speedway on the 1st., to see what we can break this time. A couple more hose clamps, and get rid of that gate and she's ready for the 1320'. Nice, I hope you guys come out! I'm going to bring out my 10 sec E55 and run and I'd love to see what you guys can do!
This one has been a team effort, a bunch of great people have come together to see the project through. It's going to be a huge learning curve for sure being in a 2wd car on a 10.5! Rick and I plan to make all the NHRDA races in the west, and a few big gasser shows this season. Next season he will go back to the LB7, and the package will go in my Nova like orig planned.
