last few times Ive been home I have been busy getting the garage ready.I added a bunch of flourecent lights on the roof and walls.Insulated the roof and bought a new toolbox

I am away working now and dont know when Ill be home,When I do get home
ill tear the heads off and go from there

I have a bunch of plans for the winter for the truck and want to make changes to braking, suspension, fuel and paint

My plan is to build it to the perfect D-Max at 700 hp:D

Hopefully when I get home in a couple weeks, Simon gets some time off so I can drag my tool box over there and we can start ripping and tearing.

You need to get working on your truck i fixed mine so you should fix yours:D

Coolant issues suck dont they

Just got home tonight and I am going to start the tear down tommorow
hopefully get the heads off before I go back to work

The intercooler ,rad and trans cooler are off and the turbo is off
when I pulled the turbo it was full of oil? So was the up pipes and pedistall:confused: I thought at first it was the turbo but the up pipes kinda eliminate that? Also the turbo is brand new....Dunno

But the priority is to get the heads off and get them checked and inspect the gaskets

If its the block then I got bigger issues! hope for the best and expect the worst

dont you think he's done enough damage this week?

Ouch!!:rofl::rofl:

We need to get a dial indicator to measure the piston to deck height accurately.

We also need to build some mount brackets for the coolant tank, FICM, and ECM.

And we need gaskets.

So basically just waiting on parts now.

It MIGHT be running by May:rolleyes:

Another hicup

pistons are coming out and heading back to ARIAS for some machining.

they are sending a new set actually but that wont be for a month +

NOT enough clearance at high RPM

Same issue I ran into! I used my stock pistons though, so the rods had to be the culprit on mine. We decked the difference off the top of the pistons (no more than .002" variance IIRC). You're doing it right Simon, so much better to be safe than sorry!
