something strange was pulling 2 injectors with the GM lb7 inj puller , It wouldnt fit on the hold down? No its not a lly injector hold down Dunno..probably means nothing
just dont know weather to pull the heads or try the billet hold downs and hope for the best?

Since they are Guy's heads worst case is you have to send them to him for inspection. Damn though wouldn't it just be nice to have had it work the first time. I hope you figure it out. Good Luck

well ive decided to hold off on the heads,But im worried that ive done something wrong on the install or dunno....just me being me
all the injector sleeves look great no carbon on them,if there was i would be very happy and they where all tight
I am hoping the clamps will arrive tommorow and i can start putting her back together

check the heads for flatness and continue on

Sitting in the shop with the valve covers off but injectors are in and guys billet hold downs are installedI learned the hard way to not overnight stuff from the US it took longer than regular shipping
and then the day they arrived I had to go to workEven if I do get it back together,I still dont know if the injector cups where leaking or what was wrong
Big Race in 2 weeks that i would love to go to....We will see

the map sensor on a 01 is on the PS intake runner
Not sure if it's smaller runner or not either....may want to look for a 01 runner or perhaps fab up a flange to install it on the BIG FRIKEN INTAKE

Well I took the weekend of for the August blackout NHDRA event and worked my but off to get the truck back together
Its STILL blowing coolant out from cyl pressure,After installing the billet hold downs and re-dooing the inj cups
Needless to say im DONE! I cant take anymore days off this year and have 0 ambition to work on it.....anymore
Im gong to limp it home and pull the motor AGAIN and see what i can get going for next season
Now off to the liquid store to find the biggest bottle of whiskey and drown in it
