I have this done on my truck and have zero overheating issues. The tube is welded shut and I have a plug on the return line

valve covers are coming off thinking its a injector cup has lifted

I know the air is out...there was just to much air entering back inWouldn't a leak down test show you if an injector cup was leaking? Also are you saying that you know you've got rid of all the air in the system and somethings causing air to be re-entered into it somehow? Somethings just telling me it's something very simple. Could be the devil telling me this, so maybe you shouldn't listen Good luck!!!

You still have to pull the cups and reinstall them don't you? If you have or think you have one lifted, that is.
