WTH are you guys talking about? Aren't the left and right batteries tied together on the positive side at the the little red junction box on the DS of the engine? And use the frame/block as a common ground?

not sure if you remember but we ditch all that crap on abby and pulled the fuse box up and ran its own wire from the one post over to the starter.......we also knew it was never going back to 2 batts:D

Guess I have a Friday truck and it was someone's bachelor party after work. Mine won't even try with the ds battery unhooked.

Where  I don't see any room for a battery on the inside. unless it's over the exhaust. Or maybe that's where you put it (if you have a stack)

Opie built 2 battery boxes, one on each side of the spare tire. It was a nice job.

When I was running 2 batterys if you unhooked the neg and postive on the driver side my truck would not start or even power the windows or inside lights nothing at all. I only have the driver side in now new Gm small 670 cold crank and starts fine but not sure if I would trust it past 7 days of not running at all in cold weather atleast with the remote start it's hard to start use the key fires up. My pass side wires are zip tied to the frame and taped off.

Just tried mine. Mine will start with the drivers unhooked. 2006 LBZ.

The passenger side battery is closer to the starter. If your truck wont start with the driver side battery unhooked you have a broken cable somewhere.
