Having the new crossmember and relocating the shocks like i did , mine hasnt really seen the need for more in the rear , i might need some more at a higher power level though . for those that have not seen the thread on my rear suspension . here is also the graph with a quick run down on shock angle .

How would these shocks stand up to cold weather (-50)? Would they blow out seals and leak, or just be stiff like any other shock? Thanks.

seams ken is talking abuot useind a stiffer spring to control the wieght (stiff spring/soft shock setup) vs opposite what jeff is talkign about (soft spring/stiff shock)

seams the latter would more user friendly to at the track adjustability.

i get that right?

We'll go with whatever works the best. Should be a bunch of T & T this weekend at Firebird in Boise. Turns out the injector cup was bad. Need a special tool to get it out, and had to special order one. So far so good. Rob fired the truck last night and drove it around a bit. Will ck all the cylinders again today after sitting all night to see if we have the problem fixed. Can hardly wait to see if we can light these big ass chargers and see how the suspension works.:happy2:

Had Billsteins, and managed an occasional 1.68 or 9, but these really did the trick.

That is so NOT what I wanted to hear. I dont have an extra $700 for these shocks. Why is it the parts you need to have as always so dang expensive?

Any more update on the stock settings you like at track and around town?

track i run rebound maxxed out ( setting 24 ) , and compression around 6-7 passenger side and 10 on drivers side . street i like 17 or so rebound and 4 compression .

I read that the TC1538P single adjustables actually change both compression and rebound as you adjust them. You just dont have the individual control that the doubles do.

Summit has them for $140, so does Jegs. Thanks Trent. Id really like it if Camo could expound on how they worked for him, his adjustments, etc....
