You probably should have just left this one alone Dan. :(

Is it true you sent a set of mine for them to start with? That's not designed from the ground up.

You say they flow better? How much more horse power do they make? Hell if flow was all we needed maybe we shouldn't run anything at all?

Then you claim that they will hold up to more heat? Tell me Dan, how many of the 100 or so sets that I sold you failed from heat related issues???

As a matter of fact how many sets failed at all??

I'll answer that one for you. NONE!! Not even one. The all mighty dollar drove your decision.

Might be best to leave me out of your replies. I'm still a little sore from the way you treated me. ;)

dan please step away from the keyboard...this post along with many others are enough to shut you down please stop while your almost somewhat ahead!

If you guys want to bitch and raise hell, that's fine, but I've had about enough of the name calling and dog piling anyone who wanders in here and happens to have a difference of opinion. If you can't discuss something like adults, then maybe you shouldn't be posting at all.

no, it was Dylan Spink, from Rye, NH...the one you thought had a cummins for 2 months. AKA Slipclutch Motorsports...check his stuff out on FB, you might be surprised to see the caliber of people that try to use PPE parts.

Dan,
The first box I got in my kit was dead. 26k at idle. Sent it back. After a couple of weeks of waiting around I was told it was installed on your truck and confirmed to be dead. The second box you sent me, same issue. 26k at idle. Then we played ring around the rosie for a couple more weeks sending logs and tunes to no avail. Finally I was told that the second box was installed on an LBZ and worked great, but oh wait, you wanted to put it on your LB7 "just to make sure". It would have been much easier if you had just told me it had not been tested yet instead of lying. So after it was then installed on your personal LB7 it didn't work. Finally I got the the third box. Wollllaaaa!!!!!!! It worked. How can someone mess up the install? Power, ground, regulator, regulator, and regulator harness plug. I am happy with the setup now that it works, but the weeks it took to figure it out and the lies are what anger me....I will say that you did always get back to me in a timely fashion.

I never said your name or anything about the manifolds in any of my posts.... :confused:I simply answered a question. You can thank your buddy for that!

Is it true you sent a set of mine for them to start with? That's not designed from the ground up.

We/Garrett TESTED every cast manifold on the market. Not just yours, we did not single you out... The new manifolds are our design from the ground up (with help from Garrett). The only common part is they are interchangeable with our stainless uppipes that we have made in house from the begining.

You say they flow better? How much more horse power do they make? Hell if flow was all we needed maybe we shouldn't run anything at all?

That would make it a little hard to drive the turbo, No?

Then you claim that they will hold up to more heat? Tell me Dan, how many of the 100 or so sets that I sold you failed from heat related issues???

As a matter of fact how many sets failed at all??

I'll answer that one for you. NONE!! Not even one. The all mighty dollar drove your decision. I would agree with statment IF there were no changes to the product. However the design is completely different then yours. Buy a set and check them out, I think you will be impressed if they were yours....

Might be best to leave me out of your replies. I'm still a little sore from the way you treated me. ;)

I understand your upset... As I'm sure we would be if in the same shoe's, I dont fault you for that. What does upset me is the multiple things you said to me on the phone during our final phone conversations, That was not cool.

Might be time to reel it in Dan, or at least drop the shovel, the hole your digging is going to be tough to get out of, might want to get a ladder to climb out of this one.

So are you also working with a guy name Andrew B.? If not I think I have my customers mixed up.

And why would you then re-install the box on your truck? I just don't understand?

Ok Guys! I think I have this figured out:confused:... I have my customers mixed up! Slipclutchms So you name is not Andrew? It appears Its Dylan, I am very sorry guys I have my customer mixed up. That is why I said it was tested on two different engine configs lb7/lly and lbz/lmm.

Guys I am completely SORRY about mixing up the info! Its a little hard to keep all the customers straight with real names AND screen names.

So now the big question.... Who is Andrew B. on the forums....

no that's not a good enough excuse this time either. that is what you told Dylan on the phone, after he told ya'll his name. I understand it is not easy keeping track of SO MANY people that you help daily, I get it, I'll give you that benefit of the doubt. however, when you are going over the diagnosis of a box, and you have established in conversation that it is one type (lb7) then openly say that you tested it on an lbz, you should've said to yourself " huh, did I just say that?" but no, instead, you told him when he called back to report the box was still not working that you had tested it on a truck. yup, you did, the wrong truck. so all this time you keep vowing that it checked out on trucks that you personally tested it on. sure, it may have, but you cant tell which box is which, right? that's what you said above in the thread...that they are the same part number but different in functionality....right? so should you not have just taken the incident as R&D and fixed the problem?

Think what you want... I got the customers mixed up, it happens! Sorry for the trouble. The boxes have the same part number on our price sheet but interally/functionality they are different. Why would I say we tested in on the shop truck (which is a LBZ) when he has a LB7????? Then Why would I tell him I tried it on my personal Truck (LB7) (read my other post were we were talling about slips truck) Becuase I mixed him up with Andrew!! Think what you want or read the facts as you want but this is 100% the TRUTH!!!! Again sorry for the mix up!

Well, right off the top of my head I can think of blackdirtymax and dieselson. I don't have a problem with you telling Dan how it is, but I don't like name calling and insults. It is completely uncalled for and not allowed on this forum. We let you get away with a lot, but that is where we draw the line. I can tell you on just about any other website, this thread would have been locked down a long time ago and likely deleted or "cleaned up". Sounds to me like you need to spend more time working on your truck and less time bitching about PPE's dual CP3 kit. You can blame the kit and Dan all you want, but once it's all said and done, it's pretty much impossible for someone to work on a truck from several thousand miles away and fix it. There are only so many things that will make a belt get thrown. I'm just going to say that you either don't know how to tell what it is, or you aren't trying very hard to figure it out. Now don't get all butt hurt and start calling me names. Whatever...

The current manifolds in the market place had room for improvements.

Garrett and PPE Co-designed the highest flowing cast manifolds to maximize airflow to their turbochargers for big power numbers and efficiency. These manifolds were designed from the ground up with Garrett's Proprietary air flow and heat cycling software by Garretts engineering team to optimize overall flow and reliably. With the utilization of superior casting materials for extreme temps and pressure's (+300 degrees over any cast manifolds on the market today). PPE again brings performance to "next level".

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: Are they as good as garretts GTX chargers???????:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Cause they speak for themselves!
