I have no dog in this fight and an staying out of it. But. i just have to say that Jesus hates Wade.

sooooo, if there was a jesus, the divine being, he would hate Wade? Well, at least THAT is consistent with scripture, lol. you know, the parts that the pastor skips over, talking about how jesus wanted those who didn't believe in him to perish and all....I think it is more effective for us to just say, "We don't like you Wade, you add nothing constructive to diesel forums." At least, that is what I would say, because I won't let someone else, especially jesus, do my talking for me.:D

Think you got your scriptures wrong. That's ok. Doesn't change the fact that Jesus hates Wade. Come to think of it; I will start a poll tomorrow.

The rules will be:
Your vote on whether you hate Wade or love him. Now I will allow anyone that you think that would love him or hate him count as a vote. So for instance; if you named rasputin as a person that would love him, that would go into the love column. Or if you named mother theresa as hating him, that would go into the hate column. I know which column Jesus will be in.:thumb::happy2::hug:

Just to set the record straight. CP3.4 mounted on homemade bracket, ED pulley, Fingers dual CP3 controller, gates belt, LMM pump in the valley AND more fuel than we can use :thumb:

i dont have much to add about dual fuelers at all, but if you are shredding belts, put an OEM tensioner on. i had problems shredding belts at high rpm's for months....went through 3 napa/autozone brand tensioners and 2 sets of idlers before i broke down and dropped the $$$ at GM for an OEM tensioner.......havent had an issue since. So it might be worth a try to just put a OEM tensioner on. it fixed all my problems

Your tensioner is weak. Ive done the "lose brakes/steering" at the end of the track due to a shredded belt on an old tensioner/idlers. Boy, is THAT fun.
IMO, even new tensioners can have springs too weak to hold the belts tight at higher rpms.
I may not have dual CP3s, but I can tell you that my belt moves 1-2 ribs every run down the track. Its the first thing I check when I get back to the pits. So yes, it can and does happen.


....not that any of that can help you with the PPE issues, but I thought it may be of interest.

My truck has shredded a few belts too, without dual CP3s, started happening as soon as I started running higher rpms, I finally put the old belt that the truck had on it when I bought it and no problems since. Im guessing it was just cheap belts at around $40 dollars or so a piece. These motors have pretty long belts to be whiping around at high rpms and im assuming everything belt driven has to be pretty much perfect to keep one together.

If I were Wade or Dan, I think I would resort to just flogging MYSELF. I think it would be less painful, and I would be (in my own self-righteous eyes) a martyr. :cool2:

I wonder if Dan got my PM about the lift pump that took a sh*t on me (actually, it pissed diesel all over the ground, and me). I just want to know the best way to resolve the issue, and it was a nice PM. I swear it was!

Not to change the subject but what did Nick really do? I've seen quit a few tunes in my time & some are close but others are way different. I NOT being a jerk here, just asking. This is not a callout to you Tim, just really asking because I hear all the comments. Is it his tuning or the rod deal?

1) Isn't that the norm, a person ( Rick ) designs a part, tests it, re-designs, tests, finalizes, sells the parts he builds.

2) Company "A" wants to sell those parts under their name, an agreement is reached.

3) Another company "B" decides to "go into business" with company "A" and cut the legs out of the original designer/company ( Rick ) so they can make more $$$

4) Designer ( Rick ) gets the shaft, Company "A" is now a scumbag R-ob and D-uplicate company and is now in business with a new "partner", company "B", who will probably have a short business relationship as well.

5) Isn't that the whole business model of company "A", to just re-sell other peoples ideas/parts for a profit and then look for ways to cut everyone else out ??

I could see where the tuning may have become an issue. I am NOT accusing anybody but I'd bet he is not the only one that has done that with tuning though. He does seem to catch the most crap about it though.
