I'm thinking about going with some white vented side panels but I'm nervous they'll be filthy in like 100 miles. I think I want to do at least some small vents on the top of the clutch side in the mean time. Whos vents are you using?

Before you buy white panels look inside the panel on the clutch side and see how much belt dust is inside of it. If there's a good amount in there the white won't be white for to long.

On the sled I have now I'm running the BRP vented panels. They're pretty nice but they're pretty steep I think they go for $450.

On my 08 I ran vents from timbersled. The front vents work mint but the rear ones kind of suck. I smashed my knees through them a million times.

I was looking at those BRP vented side panels but they're big bucks and the white made me nervous. I just ordered JC custom vents for the top of the side panels. Hopefully these 2 help out. I can always add more if I need them but I will NOT put knee vents on since I don't feel like smashing them every weekend.
Also bought some white c&a xtx skis and stud boy shapers.

I got black vents with fine black mesh. Look just like this picture but I have black side panels.

This is a 2001, 700 RMK full mod sled,
Complete Holz suspension & tunnel, 156" x 2"
Carl's cycle case & cylinder ported EV motor.
With all fluids except gas it weighed 461#

The one on the grass is the same sled in an earlier version.

The best part i like about pic#2 is the girl in the background with short shorts!:thumb:

Im just busting your balls... Yes, snowest is more for the mountain guy's. Hardcoresledder is a good one for you flat lander types. Lot's of knowlegable guy's and gal's on that site as well. I have never visited Doo talk, other than when Im sh*t talking:D

Dootalk has some informative stuff but there is a lot of BS. I can ride but I'm no expert in modding sleds so I've spent a lot of time searching and reading. I'll try HCS and see what they have to offer.

All forums have good info. Some you just have to wade through more crap to find the the good info. I search them all but only post at a few... Here & Snowest mostly.

Anyone put a boondocker turbo kit on an 800 summit??

The new issue of snowwest magazine has my interest all on overload over this kit, uses a garrett turbo, looks sweet!

There is a rumor that they're putting an Aerocharger VVT on the Summit 800 for 2014.
