That was the wrong video lol! Try the edited one where he is on the juice. Just to give you an idea, that sled mad 530hp/300ft.lbs. We lost the sled last year in a garage fire unfortunately.

The radar gun will do that based on the rate of excelleration. What we actually see is the locked mph number. A set of traps would be better imo, but that is what we have to work with.

I smoke a belt this weekend. Sucks at about a hundred bucks a whack. Not to mention going over the bars when it let go lol

Steve, I'm very jealous haha, your sled is exactly what I want to upgrade to, I want the longer track badly!! Is that 800 an Etec? (I'm not actually sure if they offered an 800 Etec in '09)? How was Rangeley? We'll have to try to go for a ride this winter at some point bud.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the rev xp :roflmao: my 08 mxzx800 would blow a belt every 100-150 miles and my brothers 08 mxzx800 would get a little over 200 miles to a belt. My old mans 08 mxzx800 has not to this day blown a belt. I probably went through 12 or 13 belts in the 07-08 season and ski-doo insists there's no belt issue. At least they warranted all of the belts that season :roflmao: the season after that I did some clutch work, dropped 1 tooth on the top gear, added a clutch tower/chassis brace, and some vented panels and belt life tripled. My 2010 xrs 800 isn't much better.

Count your blessings.... My new upgraded belts are Kevlar reinforced and go for about 190.00 a whack:mad: New one has 20 miles on it from last season and already has a cord pulled, I just discovered:mad::mad:. Hope Cats updates & my new clutching/gearing cure it.

How you like the new cat albert? I've been playing with the idea of a new sled, just havent decided on a poo or cat yet.
Michael read above... I think the 13' is a much better sled. I will pretty much have a one off 12' with all the 13' updates. The Pro will out handle the cat in the tight tree's on a steep sidehill all day long nothing you can do about it, stock vs stock. The proclimb has a more reliable engine, plus more juice 162+ compared to 145 ish on the Pro. However the 13' Pro weighs close to 80 pounds less so the extra power of the cat is a moot point. The cat is a better jumper/dropper if that's your thing. The Pro will need some bracing if your going to be Hucking it alot.

If I had it to do over I would probably still do a Cat because my dealer rocks & goes above and beyond to keep me in the snow... The Poo dealer is not my fav... So the 13' Cat is much improved & the 13' Pro is probably the sled to be beat in the steep & deep...

I have been working on things to lighten mine, improve belt life & performance. I put Pro Rmk Burandt running Boards on my Cat:D They are 3" narrower (should help side hill performance & down hill J-hook turns), Also they are much more open, shouldn't hold any snow. Got another couple days to finish the boards and other goodies:thumb: Nothing like hacking up a $12,500 sled:spit:

I'm thinking about going with some white vented side panels but I'm nervous they'll be filthy in like 100 miles. I think I want to do at least some small vents on the top of the clutch side in the mean time. Whos vents are you using?
