I freaking love it! It's a YZ450F with a Timbersled Mountain Horse snowbike kit on it. I ride it like that all winter long then throw my wheels back on and shred the dunes all summer. Just to prove it here are a few shots from this summer, and the transformation. lol

Yeah i could tell it was a 450. But the snow kit is awesome. I wasnt doubting you, just wanted to hear how ya liked it. Looks like a blast. Dunes are fun, can only imagine it in the snow.

Hows the track hook with the tq of the 450 in the snow ? Whats the snow track specs?kit does it climb well like a long track sled?

I can putter around in first gear in technical tree sections if I want. Climbing I can go anywhere any sled can go, I just get there differently. They go straight up, and I can side hill anywhere I want to.

If you could shoot straight up the hill on your dirtbike in the summer, you could probably climb it with this kit in the winter. (it won't shoot up a long steep climb, because you run out of power or track speed.)

I ride with guys that have to have the best of the best, (turbo'd / supercharged Nytros, Turbo'd Pro's and revs) and I could go anywhere they did.

These kits are amazing. Mine is a 121 x 12.5" Camoplast track with 1.75" lugs. You can get it in a 137" track, but a 121 is fine for me.

There are alot of guys throwing turbo's on these FI 450's and they are doing really well. I have a gt1544s sitting in my garage that keeps temping me, but so far I don't see the need for any more power.... yet.

Here is some vids of them in action.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWfkl5UXDoY&feature=share&list=FLN46EtM4UDCqAJXPOdVX-xQ

The first day I took it out we just played In the meadows, but there was 28" of new snow. I could pull fifth there. When climbing I'm usually in 3rd and sometimes 2nd depending on snow conditions. I top out around 60 mph on the trail, but it's pretty darty and scary on hardpack.

In dirt or sand my bike tops out at 85-90mph, (86 mph according to my gps)so they are significantly geared down. Its still more than enough power imo. I did have to retrofit a ktm 70ºc thermostat to keep from contaminating my oil with condensation and gas, even with both radiators blocked off i would rarely get up to operating temp. I also made my airbox snowtight with a ton of silicone, frogzskin inserts, and redneck ingenuity. I got that led polisport headlight to work by tapping into my 12v source from where my tuner plug is. It only pulls 3w of power so it doesn't affect the way the bike runs.

Oh i know, the 450s really move. Ive owned a few, rode some my buddies also. Didnt ever gps them tho. Yeah 60si is slower then 80a but theres alot more rotating and takin power. Still great tho, i mean u throw track on a quad and u lose almost 40-50%.

Just seems like a sweet set up.
