Holy shit dude that's a friend of yours? Watched that on tv last year. Couldn't even imagine that. U are not a fan of the pro-Rs I take it? Lol. Been on all the mountain sleds, and for factory set up are lighter and have more power then the other mountain sleds. Least sure felt that way to me. That things a beast. Gave my buddies 800 rev a slappin. I have a 07 RMk and can't hang with it either. That new chassis is perfect.
The Pro Rmk is a bad mother..... for a Polaris. It is the current bench mark for all mountain sleds. I'm hoping the new Arctic cat Proclimb chassis will give it a run for its money.

Rob just flat out rode me in some situations last year is all. The Pro Rmk would hold a line better than my M8 would.

A stock Pro has 150 ish Hp and the Cat 800 is 160-165 ish. The Cat has longer legs but the Pro handles better in the tight terrain.

Man those pictures make me miss AK! Two more years and I get to come home..nice sleds burn down

Thanks! I like it here most of the time.... It's been -30* to -40* for a couple weeks now. I'm really not liking it:(

I plan to. But where do I spend it?

just park it and buy a summit.

i had a 06f7 w/ a 144 extention kit and n20 and it was badd fast but my stock 800r renegade 137 was faster... and cost much less to convert/operate and had better resale value.

resale value doesnt matter at this point, I bought it used for a good price and I have ridden it enough to make modifications seem like a good idea. I have speedwerx parts on it now, and it scoots, but I need to redo the clutching anyways and I always wanted to get some more CC's in there. the longer track is kind of down on the wish list, since I don't do much powder riding in the boonies. a bunch of my buddies have crossover sleds and I do like riding them, but they are definitely not the nimble handlers that a 128" track is, and I come up on a lot of tight trails sometimes finding shortcuts.

Thanks,
Tim

Here is my 800xp loaded for a week in the Itcha Ilgatchuz mountains west of Quesnel B.C. We skimmed in about 80 miles to the cabin like that then rode another 80 miles beyond that one day. Weird feeling being that far from the truck or anything else for that matter.

The proclimb is an interesting sled to say the least...

It is very fast and powerful. It rips down the trail very well for a mountain sled, better than anything I have ridden since I had an MXZ. It was way better than an m or a pro. It is very stable. It is also very easy to throw around in a field and it would make a great intermediate rider sled.

That being said it does suffer in floatation and I think that the weight is part of that. It also does plow a lot of snow with those big spindles/a arms. The green sled in the picture is a 2009 m8 with a pipe and head and it was far more capable in the steep and deep than the proclimb was. My friend (the guy on it) put it very well...the more advanced the rider, the more that rider will notice the shortcomings.

Well, I'm stuck with the fat Beeotch, so a turbo should keep the front up a little better... Got one sitting in the garage but will probably make it a summer project, it was for the M chassis.

Here are some before and after pics. I think they look mean as hell, even if she's a little chubby, have to put her on a diet & I've been hitting the Gym 5 days a week LOL!

Hope to make it down there sometime this winter... I was thinking about doing a ride with Chris Brown. He has a ride deal going like Burandt. You guys have got some epic terrain, for sure at the top of my sled bucket list... Alaska is checked off!
