Got my truck back up and running with a Stock takeout engine from a junkyard back in it, I put the headers, up pipes, y-bridge, intercooler pipes, and fabricated a new intake and downpipe for the S300 was running with my twins.
The hood is painted for the pulling truck now and we are getting some of the pieces put back on it. Going to start measuring the engine parts that arrived yesterday some time next week, and hopefully start assembling the short block the end of next week, or next weekend.
Go the new intakes for the pulling truck painted too!

Here are a couple of updated pics.
That frame sure is pretty!
I added onto my shop last fall still needs finishing touches done. Never big enough tho.I think I'm more envious of your shop than I am of your truck! That chassis is coming right along though.
Here is some high dollar pieces of aluminum...
DYNO time.....
Here is some high dollor pieces of steel
Are you talking about the studs? Looks like an awfully lot of piston to wall clearance to be a steel piston... Are the fire ring grooves cut into your cylinder heads also?
No just a misinformed statement on my part They are arias pistons. And yes the heads have receiver grooves cut in them.
I would like to go to a filled block and fire rings for next year.... I want to see if someone figures something out with the blocks, I would love to bolt some big twins or triples on... Tripples would be harder to make room for, but I already have 2 S400's that could move 200 lbs/min together as atmosphere chargers... And it would be fun as hell!!! But, I have already somewhat seen the faults of the bottom end.
Crazy ideas I have in my head that will probably never happen...
Right now we are using Monotherm Mahle pistons for the new final Tier 4 13.5L John Deere test engines, they look kind of odd, and are pretty heavy... But kind of cool at the same time.
About a grand a day and its an hour south of me.Where is that at, and what does something like that cost roughly? If you don't mind sharing...
