that's a huge looking charge air pipe (the red/orange pipe on top)! :cool2:
Who's cams were tested?
:spit:Our test were for the most part to test cam shafts and a few chargers. We did not spend much time to tune for the most power. We had to leave the tune the same for all cams. Some cams needed more fuel than others. We had 1200 with 80mm without trying hard to do so. The trucks name Dirty Hooker stood true after she had so many shafts in her in one weekend..... :woott:
I haven't taken any of under the hood....
1200-1300hp is pretty common with super farm tractors with billet Hx60's and Precision charges.... I don't know of any S400 in a true 3.0 or 3.0 Protrusion form that has done that, but the billet 83mm should do that, I would hope...
I have talked with multiple turbo companies and engineers, all agree that no, currently available, S400 turbine will support more than 1250hp, which is right in the ballpark, if paired with the right compressor wheel...
I wanted to put a 88 mm compressor wheel from a GT47 on the S400 with the 96/88 turbine, i was told that the charger would not make more than 1300hp... Where as the GT47 can make 1400.
Which one??? There are a lot of statements in there...
I also don't believe a 2.6 bushed cover cast wheel S400 with the small turbine will make 1000+ flywheel HP... But one did according to your chassis dyno, 900+ rwhp with a 15% loss through the drivetrain...
Now where did I put those computers?
10 gallon fuel cell also mounted. It was $90 on eBay vs putting a sump in my factory tank for $135. Nice to get rid of the bulky tank under the truck too.
You and your damn logic Ed. Truck looks good buddy
Since when did a bushed 2.6 cast wheel/small turbine make anything near that power range??? Think you maybe missing some info there, do you remember who's truck you are referring to?
