You know me all too well. I think id simply call it the Vario, simply the best, or everything else sucks, or Fendt is the best, or John Deere and CNH can blow me. Haha.

But unfortuneatley im not rich enough to build a Heavy super stock, nor am I rich enough t o figure out how to build a MAN or Duetz engine to be competitive in the classes that require the engines to be brand specific.

But when i win the lottery in addition to a DMax pulling truck I will have two Fendt pullers.

A HSS Open Alky named black beauty and painted black of course

And a Hss Diesel painted Fir Green and named one of the above names.



heres the one we have. Havent used it yet so we will see how it works.

How much was the pressure switch and where did you get it? I need something similar to trigger a boost controller for a turbo snowmobile I'm working. Thanks!

I just bought one for an antique tractor i'm working on, was like 15 bucks for a 15psi switch....got it set up so my alternator won't charge untill the switch opens, t'd it off my oil pressure gauge.

Bought it off e-bay, works great for an antique tractor not sure how good it would work in the high performance snowmobile world...Lol

Not to dig up old subjects from this thread but here are some bump stops/jouncer replacements that I have been working on. They give a factory ride but are completely adjustable to give you the correct stance in the front when pulling. They have been on the truck for about a week and working very nicely. I have a couple sets heading out to get put on other trucks for testing so we will see how they hold up to some more abuse then just my Dad driving around town!!

I have a couple sets heading out to get put on other trucks for testing so we will see how they hold up to some more abuse then just my Dad driving around town!!

we ran a very similar set up towards the end of last season. It worked out very good for pulling.

Looks good Jim. Did you weigh it yet to see how heavy it is compared to what it was?
No i have not i think it will be close or just little heaver. But the oem leafs, Allison, front control arms & t bars are not that lite. The ladder bars are the heaviest they are 70 lbs @. kinda of wish i would of went with aluminum.

Its 1700cc custom 4 cylinder 2-stroke my dad and I built. Garrett GTX4202 turbo with Tial stainless turbine housing. Twin Tial MVS 38mm wastegates with a NLR AMS-500 CO2 boost controller. It has made 482hp/388lb/ft torque at 6500rpm and 17psi boost. Had some dyno calibration issues that fooled us into thinking it was reving 9800rpm:confused: so we stopped testing. We later found out actual rpm lol! We are heading back to the dyno in mid april, projected hp should be in the nieghborhood of 800hp/500lbs/ft torque 8500-9000rpm. Boost should be in the low 20's for that power level. On paper 1000hp is possible over 30psi boost. I have my doubts on whether the bottom end could handle it though. Here's some pictures. Enjoy!

Nope, just a steel top and insert for the stud. The rest is rubber. I also have some polyurethane ones that I will be trying out this weekend. I don't really like the poly pieces for the money that I have so will probably go with the rubber for now.

Any reason you think running a solid steel stop wouldnt work? I made up a set that Ill throw in when I get to the pull. It has a 1/2 bolt to adjust the height I need so the LCA would be sitting on the bolt head.

Steel will work fine if you are not going to be driving the truck at all. With these you would be able to drive to and from the pull without rattling your teeth out of your mouth:D

Lol got it. I figured I gotta swap wheels and tires and the pull so it would be fairly easy to swap out at the pull. Just figured Id ask ya your thoughts. :)
