nice what color are you going to paint?
Just black with gray on the ladder bars

Did you buy or make the midplate?
And is it steel or alluminum?
Aluminum. The plate between the motor and clutch can i bought It came from THE CHASSIS SHOP Part # C52-421 But PM Paul (pmeg) He had one or may know were you can get one a little cheaper. The plate for the drop box i made out of 1/2'' aluminum plate.

Thanks

Btw drop box looks good! My t case from SCS just arrived

I had to drop my motor down about 2'' to get everything somewhat level other wise the t case was pitched at to much of a angle. It still was in the last pics i will post up some new pics later tonight after i get the new motor mounts fab.

Its 1700cc custom 4 cylinder 2-stroke my dad and I built. Garrett GTX4202 turbo with Tial stainless turbine housing. Twin Tial MVS 38mm wastegates with a NLR AMS-500 CO2 boost controller. It has made 482hp/388lb/ft torque at 6500rpm and 17psi boost. Had some dyno calibration issues that fooled us into thinking it was reving 9800rpm:confused: so we stopped testing. We later found out actual rpm lol! We are heading back to the dyno in mid april, projected hp should be in the nieghborhood of 800hp/500lbs/ft torque 8500-9000rpm. Boost should be in the low 20's for that power level. On paper 1000hp is possible over 30psi boost. I have my doubts on whether the bottom end could handle it though. Here's some pictures. Enjoy!

Thats awesome, I'd love to hear it run, hope you get some videos:thumb:

sorry for the stupid question but is ODL a 3.0 turbo or twins or either of the 2.

depends on where you go.

Now the two classes jim pulls with have the following rules.

BTPA (unlimited single, 3.0 twins, ODL)
BSTP (3.0 single, ODL and i just got off the phone with Jim and he says that BSTP is allowing twins this year. I guess i never really looked at the truck rules with having the tractor and all.

Up in wisco, we dont piss around. (and those northern illinois boys)

3.0 single allows ODL in most places now.

To run twins or triples you are going to mod class with the big boys.

Not in wisco, were bad to the bone.

Looks amazing Jim! I'm envious of your abilities & work. Wish I could do half of that. Can't wait to see it on the track!

jim makes great stuff, cant wait to see it in person on sunday.

3.0 twins are for guys that cant spool a big 3.0 charger, imo a big 3.0 single will make more power than 3.0 twins. IMO a good running 3.0 class is hard to beat, them ITPA boys have it down, a very competitive class, i would say they could compete with the best of the unlimited single classes if not mop the floor.

true of ypu have perfect tracks.

But twins shine when you have crappy conditions and or dont have the truck setup right. It always pulls through.

But i run neither.

Got my truck back up and running with a Stock takeout engine from a junkyard back in it, I put the headers, up pipes, y-bridge, intercooler pipes, and fabricated a new intake and downpipe for the S300 was running with my twins.

The hood is painted for the pulling truck now and we are getting some of the pieces put back on it. Going to start measuring the engine parts that arrived yesterday some time next week, and hopefully start assembling the short block the end of next week, or next weekend.

Go the new intakes for the pulling truck painted too!
