I used Rust Check Stone Shield on the frame. Its from Canada.
Thanks for all the compliments man, I really appreciate it. I enjoy doing as much as I can myself
Got rained out this morning so I worked on it for a bit
Its easy to touch up. It dries rock hard and its really thick esp if you do 2 coats. 2-3 mils at leastThank you!
Have you used it before on any of your other rigs? Do you known how well it holds up? One thing I'm curious about is if/when it chips if it would allow water to get under it and then allow rust to form like some other products I've seen...
I'm thinking of stripping my frame of the waxy GM protectant while the engine is out so your feedback would be very much appreciated!
I've done 3 of them. I do the cuts then have my body shop weld it up and paint itWho cut your hood to fit?
Looks good to me. A little rake looks right. If you're gonna bring it down, use shackles. Those Deaver packs are soft enough without pulling more leaves from it.
They were on another truck for 10k miles so I don't think they will settle anymorejust a thought but will they "break in" and settle a little bit?
