New (to me) truck 2007 GMC

My neighbor has a 2500 ext cab 6.0 quadra steer they drive the wheels off of. Truck is beat to hell, has 300k on it, power steering pump is shot, fuel pump is going, cat is rattling, mirrors are broke out, interior is all but shot, a/c don't work, but the damn quadra steer still works just fine. When it quits running, I'm gunna need to snag it

Are you sure its an extended cab?

As far as I know, the quadrasteer pickup trucks only came in 2 flavors:

1500 extended cab/short bed half ton 6-lug (whether it was in the form of a sierra denali/6.0 or silverado/5.3)

1500HD/2500 crew cab/short bed 8-lug 6.0

Ive never seen an (8-lug) quadrasteer truck that was not a crew cab.

Off the top of my head, 1999-2000 was "2500", 2001-2003 was "1500HD", 2004-2005 was "2500", and 2006 was back to "1500HD". Im not sure if there was a 2007 GMT-800 1500HD or not...

I was a little wrong on this....I just did some research.

it seems that it actually goes:

99-00, 2500
01-03, 1500HD
04, 2500
05-06, 1500HD

Discontinued after 2006 model year.

I was in an accident. A kia soul t-boned a ford fiesta and the fiesta flew into me and hit my driver front corner. Tweaked my frame and actually just got the truck back tonight. Was ~3600 in damage. Ordered a set of forged blanks and am having my own wheel design cut for this truck. Tired of seeing everyone with the same wheels. I even made up my own fake logo for when people ask Should be about 6 weeks. Also ordered some AMP research steps for this one.

What kind of marker / headlights do you have ?

They are TYC brand, no longer made but sets pop up on ebay/amazon sometimes.

It's a quadrasteer bed, I shaved the side marker lights beofre it was painted... maybe thats what is throwing you off?

He put a qudra steer bed on it.

Made a bracket for my new backup camera. Old one was ricey looking above the license plate

Mounted front 20" bar... there were already holes that match up perfect, I just had to redrill holes higher up to get teh bar height correct in the opening

Put this connector on the bar for the time being. It is wired in with the fog lights.

Tapped of the fog lights for now

Sorry to resurrect this, but can you detail how you did the DRL conversion with the switchbacks? Do you still have the stock turn signals as well?

Cornell, could you throw up some pictures of your hood? Specifically over the grill, and over the fenders/headlights? I went looking for a shop to do it for me today, none will do it, and they all say it won't fit the fenders. Don't suppose you had any problems?
