Am I supposed to believe that they are 40 over injectors that are supposed to be a stock replacement that can be bolted on without a tuning reprogram? I am sure that they will cause a ton of issues in the way the trucks run. I hope that there is a new design for you lb7 guys, its a sad state of affairs they way these injectors get ruined but i am doubtful on the reported specs of this so far.
I'm no expert bosch guy but they will be out soon. I do know they are around the 40 perecent mark over and based off a cat designed injector. Now for the actual weight of the check ball I do not know. Not here to claim that I designed them or are a injector engineer.:thumb:
I forgot to mention, these are going to be painted cat yellow too. Cat designed the new 30 weight ball bearing back when they were building a motor for chevy, and just now sold the design to bosch. I guess the first set is making into the states today after it goes through customs.
Little bird told me NASA was working on an injector for the lb7. It can shoot itself into orbit and deliver fuel to your cylinders via satellite.
i ran 40 overs on my truck for over a year before getting efi live with no issue
No real need to. LBZ injector failures are almost never compared to LB7's..
Ok, that answers that. I figured that big an increase would create havoc.

it had a little bit of an annoying clatter and MPG went to shit but no real mechanical issuesOk, that answers that. I figured that big an increase would create havoc.
EGT'S would hit 1000* under normal accelerationi would only see towing EGTs to be an issue and MPG. i dont see that much more fuel without timing increasing MPG by its self.

and under WOT with a truck at or near full recommended tow weight up a 6% grade hill?

We're on page six and haven't seen any proof.
