I'm no expert bosch guy but they will be out soon. I do know they are around the 40 perecent mark over and based off a cat designed injector. Now for the actual weight of the check ball I do not know. Not here to claim that I designed them or are a injector engineer.:thumb:

Am I supposed to believe that they are 40 over injectors that are supposed to be a stock replacement that can be bolted on without a tuning reprogram? I am sure that they will cause a ton of issues in the way the trucks run. I hope that there is a new design for you lb7 guys, its a sad state of affairs they way these injectors get ruined but i am doubtful on the reported specs of this so far.

I forgot to mention, these are going to be painted cat yellow too. Cat designed the new 30 weight ball bearing back when they were building a motor for chevy, and just now sold the design to bosch. I guess the first set is making into the states today after it goes through customs.

Bosch told me John Deere green would be an option.

Little bird told me NASA was working on an injector for the lb7. It can shoot itself into orbit and deliver fuel to your cylinders via satellite.

it had a little bit of an annoying clatter and MPG went to shit but no real mechanical issues

EGT'S would hit 1000* under normal acceleration

and under WOT with a truck at or near full recommended tow weight up a 6% grade hill?

Hell yeah, if they're Cat yellow thats all I need to know.

On a serious note, if these new injectors are real I hope they come out to the public soon because I'm gonna buy some in March or so for my truck.

Wow, really? Has this forum come to this?

What is the problem with the latest (2007, real, current, non-fiction) Bosch upgrades to the LB7 injectors? How many have had injectors with the latest revision fail? I mean I keep LB7 injectors in stock and we change a 3-4 sets a month, but I have never replaced any injectors that were the latest Bosch design. I have a feeling that everyone that is acting like LB7 injectors are still a problem are guys that don't have the most current injectors and are waiting for the day when their's go out. Unlike Ford who told their 6.0L customers that they were SOL with all of the probelms, GM extended the warranty to 7 years and 200,000 miles to try to take care of all of their customers - there is no way they could have made it a lifetime warranty.

We're on page six and haven't seen any proof.

But it's only been a couple of 3 days. I'm not defending or trashing. But I know things take time. I to have seen threads about the end all injector for LB7's. And do get tired of them myself. But lets give the guy a chance to see how reputable he can be. What's the worst that can happen? turns out to be another joke? Maybe. Lets all show him how professional we can be at the best Duramax site on the net.
