Ok
I'm selling a brand new SoCal Tig Welded water pump.
Reasonable offers only please.
I'm curious who did the machine work? We still don't run fire rings, so I was curious what the rings cost and what kind of gasket you used and the cost of that also??
Thanks.
SoCal Diesel
Cost around 1k
Grade c
Rings only protrude through the gasket
I'm just wondering why??
As it is mines over 800 hp sees over 80psi using pos arps. Not a gasket issue to date. Just rolled 10k miles on the motor
Got a couple pictures of my internally balanced crank.
Hopefully the engine will be home soon.
I assumed you knew why. I'm not going to call and waste Guy's time with something that in my case is not a concern.
I was just curious, that's all
I'm sure you can get away without it but it's just "extra protection" against high cylinder pressure. I guess I have a little more peace of mind and hopefully and more reliable all around engine that will hopefully hold more than a standard gasket.
