Probably just gonna go with the XD rods again. Had good luck with them last time and with the warranty, hard to beat. Unless anyone has some for sale. Just don’t know if I wanna spend $300+ on rare parts or kryptonite.

Compared to the moog we run on the work trucks I’ve gotten twice the life so far so that’s worth it in my book (time doing it-picking up the parts-price of parts-realignment)
That was also 3 years ago now so maybe there’s some new ones out that I don’t know about?

Rare parts are still out there but dmaxstore has their brand xd rods for $100 cheaper. I had them in my lb7 and they were beefy.
I have 180k on my original Front end minus wheel bearings and their tight as a drum. Just using super diesel sleeves and Cognito braces.

For the price of sleeves and 2 new tie rods I can get the xd rods. These tie rods have about an inch of play. They’re pretty bad lol

Just found my headlight project. Gonna do pretty much this. Same color and everything. Demon eyes behind them. And for the bumper lights I’m gonna paint them the same white and use morimoto mod pods. Switchbacks for the turn signals and dual intensity for DRL. Wire them so that the low output comes on for DRL and bright for the running lights along with the white on the switchbacks. Possibly use them for reverse lights as well.
