Well engine didn't lock up and no metallic noise while running have the "pop" noise.. just a 1/2 missabd black puff.
Course if i blew a tip off ill have to pull the head
Just been search got new stock injectors.. 380-450 each after laundering $1-200.00 each for cores
Hicksville auto has good pull outs for $200(8 month old pruce quote).
The sucky part the junkyard lbz from Miami .. injectors and cp3 where junk so no backups
The sound reminds me of the time I must have not got one of the valve lash adjustment nuts tight enough but backed clear off and the bridge fell out didnt damage anything just had to put it back in and reset
Done that myself .... Usually there's a metallic tick
Wish EFI live did cylinder cut out tests
Use the DVT section in the scan tool its in the control tab in the DVT screen.
Also look at balance rates, if you have a leaky or cracked injector neither of these will help though. You will have to pull individual lines and cap the rail.
Make things.more depressing..

Dang Adam, that sucks big time. Hopefully it is just a hung injector, and it is easy to swap out.
