Dang Adam, that sucks big time. Hopefully it is just a hung injector, and it is easy to swap out.

I think if it weren't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all :(
Well so far 1,3,5,7 have their tips and mechanical everything is good going to run lash again. Since im there and its a pita to get to
glass half empty, atleast it didnt happen on a run

I keep telling myself that..
Hicksville auto has injectors our of running engines for 200 including 50.00 core

You must click Activate and Enable Master Fuel Injector Control

At time of the vid i had no control.
Some reason it decided to give me control after I stopped the video. And smoke went from white to black.

Starting with glow plugs it stalls on a cylinder.
Black smoke comes and goes in relation to #1 being on/of

Still not as smooth as it should be. First time in 332,000 miles ive had injector issues of any type.

Damn dude

You really need to kill cylinders and find the bad one. I'm thinking one injector got dirt into it and is now hanging. It takes about 5 minutes with a scanner.

All i got is efi live...

As stated i was able to kill them.. and only thing changed was black smoke puff in relation to #1 being on/of

Sounds like #1 might be your culprit. If the injector is hung open or leaking, you could try pulling the glow plugs and cranking it over without the injectors plugged in, and see if one (or more) cylinders spits fuel out the glow plug hole. Not familiar with the newer engines, but you might be able to just unplug the bale connectors to disable the injectors, but have it still crank.

I've got means of jumping the starter lol
Plus starter circuit it separate from the bale connectors

I would go get a known good injector, or two with your luck, and replace the #1 injector. If it is leaking bad enough it will have a wet tip soon after you pull it out with the tip facing down

Or at least swap the #1 inj to a different cylinder & see if the smoke deal follows it to the new cylinder when you cycle it on & off or if it stays at cyl. 1.

Finally to jeff deans advice(call him on the phone)...
Manually disconnected each injector.. #3 was the culprit
Balance rates..

Well shes is definitely making more HP.. put almost extra 200rpm on the TC from 1700 to 1900rpm. Boost is down... Say that's par for normal with a bigger camshaft leas restriction less boost and increased air flow
