I didn't pay for the second block to get done..... Also got new block heater as well for it.

The biggest part was the extra week down for the machine shop to do another block.

Might have jumped little soon... Kinda edgy on stuff not being right as of late...
Seeing harpin picture is a relief.. Going to be more of a PITA to change a water pump when it fails..though

I don't blame you one bit. If I had all the issues you are having I would have said several things I'd regret down the road lol.

I do similar too harp, but I tap the cover and drill the pump out when using a 01-05 block on a 06+ setup. One less nut too deal with when water pump replacement is needed....

But really, I pull motors before water pumps fail :spit:

Trucks up and running with current block... Talked to Brayden is going to swap out block sometime this spring.. I'm out of time and money to sit for another ~10-14 days. And bills need paid..

Course now i get go chase a no supply voltage to an ABS whe sensor... Which cost me a 1400 mile load

DOT violation... Since I run it as a commercial motor vehicle and it goes against both mine and company's safety records

Hmm...thats interesting. ALL of our ups trucks that drive in rural areas have active ABS lights, due to mud/dirt contaminating the rear sensors. At first, the shop was repairing them, but gave up after a while. Now they just dont care.

Do you have to have trailer abs like the big rigs?

Big rigs trailers are STD abs. Can't do abs on a E brake... I know several companies offer abs with EoH brakes...

I haven't seen a P&D truck like yours being pulled over for and DOT inspection... See OTR ups trucks getting it though

As posted in dedicated abs thread.... Abs code c0035 is left even though it states right.... Left wheel bearing has 1/16-1/8" slop at the top of the rotor...

Fresh engine problems...Got less then 200 miles on the engine.. And why I want a tight engine... This would be alot worse with loose PTWC which is .004" now rings gaps are are .001-.002" bigger this time then last time..

You got 200 miles on it already towing heavy, I would expect to see that coming out of the pipe. Not sure your mumbo jumbo about PTWC on a fresh engine has anything to do with this.

If it's still doing it with 50k miles on it, then I would be worried.

Its going to take some mileage to get seated adam. How much oil is it using?

I expect I'll use a gallons or so first 10,000 miles.. Been the norm...Pending loads I get.. I usually burn 1-2qt on a 10k mile interval..

Side note found I got a 10psi drop in hot oil pressure from pump discharge (where most mount oil temp) to #2 main. (Mounted mechanical guage through an oil galley plug) That's through the OEM cooler my aux coolers and filter.. With melling 316 pump.
Course OEM reads 15-20psi less then mechanical that is down steam.. Woo hoo for another guage that isn't scaled right
