Everyone is so grumpy for a Friday. I see it one of two ways...
First, if all the warranty claims in front of him were from months or longer used turbos issues, I think to jump on a failure that happened with a brand new product was the right thing to do. One, because it was new and not someone who beat on a performance product for an extended period of time. Two, because if they have an issue they need to know before another one goes out the door.
Second, at this point it could be a business decision to just make the squeaky wheel happy and get good PR out of this debacle. Honestly it makes me 100% more comfortable about buying a charger later this year from them. I've always had great service, but I've also never had a catastrophic issue. If it was just to quiet the squeaky wheel, I'm sure they won't be so forthcoming later down the road and that's what i would do if I were in their shoes and felt the heat was unwarranted.
Can't we all just get back to how this sweet build is going to turn out???
