In the mean time...here is some data i did today on my dyno. This is a fun truck, mine has a 4-6 inch lift and 35" tires. The truck is 2 for 3 in event wins this year that we have entered. My 17 year old daughter just won the main event at the NHRA Fox hunt last weekend in it. Ran within .10 all day long racing on the banks tow tune against 10.0+ second cars.

It’s real. The platform used to flash will be ez lynk

If the process is EZ-Lynk...........I wonder if the editor will have what is needed for all of the Technicians to utilize the process............or if it will be limited to a handful of the actual technicians ??

If anyone knows how a lot of the process of that product works for technicians, there is quite a bit that is not available for all, and that will certainly limit "WHO" is able to do tuning for L5P.

I’m lost...
So your saying the EZ platform is basically open source?

No he saying that when you create a tune and upload it to the cloud, you can not lock it from prying eyes and those that are the top have access and can open your tune and look at it

Not really proof but it wouldn't surprise me if it were true. Though technically I think Tom is the one in control of who sees what.

Last I knew that lawsuits was dead in the water kory was just in my neck of the woods for court and pretty sure it went good for all of them

What is Kory Chinese? Lol stealing intellectual property is a no no. I've had guys in my industry sneak into boats to try and figure out my networking. I literally kicked the shit out of one of them. That's BS if it's true...

Just to clarify, I am not specifically accusing any individual of any wrong doing, I am simply stating that if you look at the TUNE FILE as a propriety file, it would be no different than if a manufacturer of a food product or software product did not take steps to secure/protect their recipe/code.

Theft happens everywhere, but as a matter of policy, I will not utilize a cloud based system, as I lose all control over my intellectual property once I upload it, and enough people in the industry are already known thieves and have been caught with Google Drives full of tune files from the major tuners.

So again, I choose not to be in a position where I have sent files to a cloud and then lost control of them.

In addition to those concerns, I do not tune FORDS, and the Cummins switchable tuning is not true CSP5 or CSP4 or CSP2, its a SOTF type fuel limiting file, which IMHO is not as beneficial as a true custom OS is from EFI-LIVE.

I am not slamming EZ-LYNK, but we get calls daily, and emails daily, people want to switch to my company and tuning and still use their EZ-LYNK............not going to be something I can offer them.

I started in 2005 with EFI-LIVE, and I am still loyal to them and happy with them 13 years later.
