As long as it settles into 5th, and pulls for a couple 100k without splitting pistons, I’ll be happy! LMLs scare me, lol...

Yes, I have turbo sitting on the shelf ready to test but haven't found a truck to put it on because like many we are probably getting rid of ours too. Someone local want to be the first to try it I won't charge any labor to install and dyno it to see what the gains are with it. You just pay for the turbo and it is a brand new one.

What’s the specs of the turbo? I’m not local but I like the L5P

I’m not local, but get through there quite a bit. I’ll be happy to stop by!

No it was still a disconnected feeling turd I traded it in for my Hellcat and got another 15.5 Denali. I wouldn’t want that truck back even if there was tuning.

I'll be hanging on to my 16 until I hear the 20's are right. I was also told to pass on this one like Mike was. Seems it will end up a stop gap model that just kept them in the game...

Unless I start having a bunch of issues I’ll be doing the same with my 16.

I just don’t get why people are so horny about the Ford. Ugly AF inside and out imo and I don’t feel they pull any better than my 16. And they still blow up.

It’s because ford is made with military grade aluminum.

Reading stuff like this makes me happy to keep my old LB7.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable "Whos got the fastest L5P?" thread later this year. That'll be fun.

That stupid ass post already came up a long time ago there's tons of shit in it. Reading it I was like wtf who gives a shit they are all stock tuning :roflmao:

when I pull up to an l5p in my truck I'm like maybe he wants to race... Oh wait he's stock nvm :spit:

I hope the l5p never gets tuning and that one company was just throwing a late April fool's joke

Because the cabs are massive. My daughter is 10 y/o and she could swing here feet forward from sitting in the back seat and not touch the back of the driver seat that’s all the back. I didn’t buy one but I did test drive one to what the hype was all about myself and if anything stood out over GM it was the cab space. Don’t shoot me, I’m just chiming in!

The interiors and options on the new platinum fords make denalis look like a base model. The fords still ride like shit though and I don’t want one. I’ll stick with 16 and below models for quite some time. GM has a lot of work to do in my opionion.

Agreed on that. You get a lot more bang for your 70K-73K (depending on your location)

I just don’t understand what is going on with GM. Why they are letting themselves fall so far behind the other 2 when they used to be at the forefront of innovation. They never come out with Anything innovative. It’s sad tbh someone should be fired!

My company truck I drive is a 17 f350, i dont like the looks of the exterior and half the time it acts like it doesn't want to start but the cab space is amazing, I'm 6'1" and with the seat all the way back and the seat leaned back tot he back window I can't touch the steering wheel without stretching foreword some and as for leg room I can just about stretch my legs out straight sitting in the seat. I would still rather have a gm and like them better than the Ford but I definitely wish they had the ford space inside

I don't know why so many people get caught up on all the gadgets in these trucks. Hell a new base model has more than my slt, even a new ltz has way more than I'd use, but I'm no techno junkie...

I’ve got 3 friends with platinums 1 ‘17 and 2 ‘18’s. I disagree on the appearance. Don’t like them. The options however are nice ideas. I just think the look could be done better.

The rear cab space in them and the mega cab dodge does beat out gm, but I don’t ride in the backseat so it’s not an issue for me. They make minivans for that anyways.

I’m not quite that tall but I’m pretty sure I was a cholo in my past life and I appreciate the seat all the way back
I’m very much more in love with a GM truck and the 19’s claim to have large cab space so we will see!
