Reminds me of this cop I followed once with blue lights blazing, right until he pulled into a Domino's pizza. I waited outside and ask him, "is there a hostage situation somewhere?" No,, I didn't think so. "How about an escort home with that there pizza then?" :rofl:

I thought ambulances, fire trucks, etc had a bypass button or some such thing. I remember reading about that issue several years ago and thought the EPA put out some exemptions for emergency service vehicles.
I'll see if I can dig up that article
