I was seeing is spiking past 1350 fast like it was heading outta site and when i was shifting at 3200 it would pretty much level off at 1250-1300. pre turbo pass manifold. i know thats nothing compared to what some peeple see but I like to keep em safe and thats with 28deg and 3200us. and i would imagine some of that could be remidied by adding more then 28 deg at higher rpm because the tune is running a flat 28 deg all the way to 3800

That's nothing to worry about buddy. Mine consistently sees 1600 :eek: in my big tune and it settles to 1450 or 1500 depending on the ambient temp...

Haha I know somebody who was seeing 1800.......yeah I like that mine is staying that cool I can drive it pretty hard and not see over 1200.

I spike my 1600* gauge fairly regularly. And sometimes for a decent amount of time. My motor came apart looking brand new.

Nooooo. I mean we took the stock motor apart to build it after all the high egts. And it all came apart looking brand new. Never blew up

That's good. My hot tune dynoed 570 and it will stay around 1300. What used to be my 100 hp tune stays under 1000 unless its really hot outside or I'm towing something heavy.

Turbo and all the plumbing I'm running I guess. I did the turbo first and drove it for a month then did manifolds up pipes down pipe 3" bridge and 3" boost pipe. The turbo helped egts sone but not like the plumbing did. Noticed a big drop and slow down in egt climb after that.

so we went from stock CP3 HP to EGT results? all over the place! lol

My EGT's would run smooth past 1600 with the big tune on the stock turbo (500hp+). Daily tune would hit 1450 at around 475hp

With the twins, race tune doesn't get over 1350! I love it!!

Dynod 635hp but just over 900ftlbs with the twins right after the install with NO tune adjustments. couldn't get it to spool, it was just purely a test run after bolting on the twins and 40% overs.

Runs wayyyyyyy better now after josh dialed in the tuning but haven't been back to the dyno. I like to go to the same dyno, so all of my results can be somewhat comparable even if they are higher/lower than actual.

I was sort of hoping this thread would have a few solid answers and then die off. But it has taken a different path lol
I guess I can't complain though. There are definitely some promising #'s in the first few pages!

Derek, I'm thinking my truck has been a letdown long enough. My guess is that it will make over 650hp and then the Buddy trans will explode lol. That would be my luck.

It had been I've said it all along it should have been making more than what it was... Should I put the truck on the road and bring a trailer to the dyno?
