4094vvt, downpipe, full exhaust, hot side pipe, egr delete, tow flows, intake, basically all the usual stuff except for the high flow Y-bridge...
That was almost my exact setup up until a few weeks ago except I had DDP 100hp nozzles in the mix as well

It had been I've said it all along it should have been making more than what it was... Should I put the truck on the road and bring a trailer to the dyno?
I won't get that lucky. It will explode in Northern Maine while I have the snowmobile trailer hooked to it lol

My big tune was seeing 1800 if not more at WOT until catman3126 helped me out with tuning now it's seeing 1450 max at WOT. I have pretty much same setup as him except for all the plumbing he has. I have stock Y and stock I yer cooler pipes.

Time for a down pipe and boost pipe and bridge and then some injectors and a couple CP's. Another turbo and a divorce or atleast a place to sleep in your garage for awhile LOL.

Haha. Got a down pipe. Need all the boost side pipes and Y bridge. Definitely cp3 or cp3's.

My tuner had it set higher at WOT I guess to try and help spool quicker? Idk but it runs the same with the it at 2% across the map but stays at 1450 on big tune now instead of 1800. 150 tune hits 1250

Yeah I can't really figure out why one would set it that high and limit the vanes that much. But I'd like to know the threory behind that.

It might help if you give it a little bit of vane position back. My 68mm didn't like where Rob had it but didn't like all the way open either. You might try giving it 15-20% and see if it don't bring your EGT's down more

Yeah iwonder if it would cause a surging issue. mine was set at 6% and was building 48psi so i set it down to 2% and it was still building 46psi. even though the tune was only calling for 38psi. but since my egt's are decent and no spooling issues I like mine right where it is. I'd be surprised if Quinton can get much lower then 1450 with his setup. my thoughts are if the turbo is building the boost your asking it too why would you want the vanes to open up as far as they need to and still maintain boost so as to all the drive pressure to be as low as possible.

On a stock turbo your getting 48 psi with only 2-6% vane angle??

No he has a 66mm. And mine is still seeing 42-43 psi on boost with 2% across the table. I'm happy with it and also idk what I was looking at when I was logging and said my cp3 was weak. I'm seeing 22-23k psi steady at WOT. I raised timing to 30* above 3000rpm and raised pulse width to 3300us. Will see what she does tomorrow!!

Mine wont go over 1200º no matter what. :D

Sooooooo, does anyone know of the actual highest stock CP3 hp number? I would like to think a strong LBZ pump with big injectors and enough air could go over 700.

This is the route I think I may go and then ill have my stock pump to make a twin out of someday. Modded lbz should do 700 with the right setup of people are seeing 650 lly pumps

My stock pump with 140k on it holds 24-25k on a 2300µs tune with 40% nozzles. HP calc has it between 685-703, depending on which one I use. I'm just wondering how far above 700 you could go using bigger nozzles. Or would it kind of even out after you go so big? ie, 100% sticks on my truck. Would I make more power, or would it not matter because FRP would still drop after a certain µs?
