I shift from 4000-4200

Hmm I just recently raised mine to 3600rpm. This weekend at diesel nationals in Denton tx. I am gonna try a few different things. If I can hold 19k psi or more in my rails then then Im gonna up my timing and pulse width. Right now it's set at 28* with 3250us

You are going to lose hp under 21,000 psi... Drop pw until you're able to hold a minimum of 21,000

Have they been out long enough to say they are better than floor it?

I actually met John from floor it a year ago and sounded like his were pretty reliable too. but that was coming from him. he was in a efi Live class with me. we were there for tuning and all he kept talking about pumps for some reason LOL

Looks like we can do a second CP3 for not much more then the price of a 10mm exergy. wonder what the flow comparison is between two stock ones and a 10mm or their 12mm? anybody know?

Ok well let me rephrase that. How are they doing with stock sticks??

With stroker pumps or duals. You just need to keep the rail pressure over 22,000 to keep the fuel atomization complete, if it drops below that the fuel starts to drip off the nozzle and is not properly atomized for complete combustion. Resulting in less power production from said amount of fuel...

And what kind of timing and pulse width would you run?

That's gonna be between you and your tuner, but if your RP is falling below 22,000 just keep backing it down untill you can hold it. Then your going to making as much power as possible from your weak cp3...

Also, I shift mine around 3800...:D

should be able to keep the FRP at a safe level like 24k and bring it on slower so that one would be making big torque at a low rpm. i know my tune is calling for 160 at 1600 rpm so if the system was able to achieve that 160 at a low rpm like that with big pulse it could spell disaster for a stock engine. (bent rods) so can dual pumps be dialed back to bring the fuel pressure on gradually so in the higher rpm one can sustain 24k rail pressure? or do they come on so swiftly that it can't be dialed back?

With dual pumps they work half as hard as a single modified.:thumb:

I did 3850 and seemed to make good power but and looked at the log and it will hold 22,500k rail pressure 3800 but egt's climbed really fast after 3200. seemed to make good power still though.
