will the injector default closed/open if there is a connection issue? Truck has 57,000 miles FICM harness does not show any signs of rubbing through on the bracket
When my harness rubbed through and started grounding out she went into a "limp mode"

Get the repair kit, I tried the ice pick also and still couldn't get it to work until I did the repair kit
if it was the harness it would be in limp mode and sound different.

i agree with ben it sounds nothing like mine did when #2 lost connection but ive heard that when #7 looses it you only loose that cylinder

ok, I was just wondering. if the balance rates were effed up in #5 i was thinking maybe it could be trying to compensate. but if the code is #5 that has to be #5.
