OK so after some drive time I know I need a higher stall convertor but I don't think that is going to clean this thing up. black haze even on the low tune and have adjusted pulse in the lower part of the tune 1 table and cleaned it up some but my suspect is its the turbo since it spools slow when I do stand in it. So at this point I'm open to suggestions for turbo selection and am open to going with twins. After seeing how clean Katie's LB7 is and making a 1000+ I'm not ruling a similar setup out, One question I have is can I go with a S300 valley charger with a T4 or will I have to go back to a t3 for that? Or do I cut back to a S463 and a 591 twin or some type of setup. this is not my daily driver by any means but I would like to be able to drive it down the freeway with the cruise set at 70 and not see a black ball of smoke at the tail pipe in the mirror at all times. Once this turbo lights and gets into the 30+ psi range it is perfectly clean. Not even a haze. It makes about 52 PSI when I'm all in it on the hot tune. My complete setup is in my sig.

You can run a t4 s300 with an s400. Plenty of guys running 366/488 combos.

I am half tempted to downsize my high pressure to either a 366 or 463ish.

Yeah see that's what I'm leaning towards. Id like to stay on the little bit bigger size to be able to lay down some good numbers and keep things as cool as possible. also anyone know of a 488 or 59X with a 6 blade comp wheel? I'd like to stay 6 blade on them both for sound lol.

What converter do you have?

This I know is part of the issue off the line but I can tap shift down to 4th and be turning 2500 let the turbo spool some and still lag and roll coal stand still stall is 1800rpm and that's it, then 8-9 seconds later it will build enough boost to start to spin the tires, by that time it has blacked out everything around me lol. a convertor is defnitly on the list. I need a billet stator one anyway.

Billet S471/87 .90 A/r. what's odd is if I just drive down the road slow like you would taking off when the engine is still cold you can hear the turbo coming on and it will build 10Psi as it climbs in rpm but when I stand on it, it seems slow. Seems to me that if it will build 10 psi of boost with very little throttle it should light fast when I get into it. Next time I drive it I will take a video. I need to add a drive pressure gauge and see what that is doing also. maybe I'm being picky or maybe it is the injectors I picked. Brayden and Mark both said LMM 8 hole "dual plane" whatever that is can be pretty dirty.

I'm looking to sell a 5541 (106mm) I have most of the stuff to do the install. Was running with with a gtx4202r.

Oh great just what I've always wanted those damn things sound so badass lol. I can buy a GT4202/Gt5541 with piping and turbo kit right now for 7500. it was for an LBZ but I'm sure I could rebuild a couple parts and make it work.

You need a much higher stall. 26-2800

I think htt offers them. Some of our guys might have them too just not listed on their websites.

Agreed as soon as I get a few more jobs done at the shop A new convertor will be on the way. 2800 or so is the plan.

I'd want less then that and comes with most of the pipping and 3 gates.
