I ran a stock sized trans cooler and had it mounted in the bed it never got hot on me even when I was test hook and would drop back it never got past 190 on temp and if it got that high I put ice on top of the cooler and the temp dropped instantly
I eliminated my cooler since the lines were leaking. I run a deep pan and even with back to back pulls I have never had problems with getting hot. As far as electrical on my truck I prefer to switch the positive just to eliminate a direct short from happening at the pumps or fans.
We ran our two pumps few minutes prior to pull all last tear. Two 2000gph pumps running thru 2000hp rated core. IF it will spool thru it, you're better off getting it cool as possible. Start with lower temp, end with:thumb: lower temp
You shouldn't hit the pump anyways until you leave to keep the ice from melting

We used an adjustable air switch for each pump based off boost. I reccomend hooking pumps up seperate that way if something happens to one you at least have 1 running.
Yes, our new tank can make 2 passes and still have ice. Lol
And we run 2 Rule 3800 gph pumps, with our truck now we turn the pumps on as spooling, once we get close to 3000 rpm...

Got my A/W set-up all mounted and plumbed yesterday. I couldn't find a good sized tank so I ended up buying an aluminum fuel tank and converting it into one. I will be running a Mezier water pump (55 GPM) that has a single inlet dual outlet. It will be feeding 2 Frozen boost type 17 A/W coolers.

Just need to get the lids put on the weight box and wire up the pumps and fans and than will be moving to the back of the truck to get the rear axle welded in solid and probably a new hitch set-up.
I ran across this relay set-up yesterday. Looks to be like a nice set-up and not much more than just buying 5 relays and pigtails. Has anyone used something similar? Is it worth it?

I would try and find some trim to put on that hole. Might not rub though, but better save than sorry
